The NUX C5RC is a 5.8 GHz wireless guitar system designed for electric guitars, bass guitars, and other instruments. With ultra-low latency, low noise, minimal interference, and wide bandwidth transmission, it delivers dependable wireless performance that feels just like playing with a cable, only without the clutter! By operating in the 5.8 GHz frequency band, the C5RC avoids the crowded 2.4 GHz spectrum used by Wi-Fi networks, Bluetooth devices, and countless other wireless devices. The result is a stronger, more stable signal with far less interference, helping your tone stay clear, detailed, and consistent wherever you play.
The C5RC delivers impressive 24-bit audio quality with ultra-low latency of less than 5 ms, so your playing feels fast, natural, and responsive. Under optimal conditions, it provides a reliable wireless connection at distances of up to 30 meters (100 ft), making it perfect for rehearsals, live performances, and home studio setups. True plug-and-play operation means setup is quick and hassle-free. Just plug in and start playing!
A portable charging case is included to keep the wireless units powered wherever you go. Designed with gigging and travelling musicians in mind, the power case offers up to 15 hours of total battery life and can recharge the system approximately three times. That means less time worrying about batteries and more time playing!
Pairing the system is fast and intuitive. Simply hold the power button on both units, and they connect instantly. The transmitter also features a built-in mute function, activated with a short press of the power button, making it easy to silence your signal between songs without touching your amp or pedalboard.

Purchases with Artist Guitars come with a 3-year Warranty. Warranty is only valid to the original purchaser and in the original country of purchase. Please take note of your order number to help us verify your purchase in the event of a warranty claim.
If the issue can be fixed by replacing a part, we will send it to you free of charge. Spare parts are shipped from our office in Sydney, Australia. If more extensive work is required our Customer Happiness department will arrange a free return slip or courier collection to get your item returned for further assessment.

If you're not completely satisfied with the quality of any of our products, we'll be happy to arrange a free return of your product for an exchange or full refund, including any shipping charges. This also covers instances where you may have bought the wrong size or if you simply change your mind.

Absolute piece of s**t
Bought this purely for studio so that I could have quick practice sessions with out the fuss of cables. Worked for the first couple of weeks (with occasional disconnection and having to reconnect) eventually they would disconnect after 40secs of playing , then it wouldn't pick up the receiver, then the one wouldn't charge , I'd sync the damn thing every time as per instructions. Eventually after months of struggling and pure frustration. I smashed the damn things to pieces and threw them away. Back to using a cable. No issues. DO NOT BUY. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

When I was given this to try I really didn't think it was for "professional" musicians as I perform on reasonably large Theatre stages. Simple and effective
Bought the Nux unit to replace a bulky Samson analogue system. So easy to use, pairs quickly, latency is unnoticeable and the tone is clear and uncoloured. Battery life is good and the charging case is fantastic. The only issue I have had is the Nux will not work in my music room properly as it has constant interference and very short audio dropouts that I have traced to my 5.8 GHz router/high power WiFi access point in the same room - not a fault of the Nux but something to keep in mind and something that Nux do warn users about in the manual.

This unit worked flawlessly at home with either low volume, hi gain amps or plugged into the interface, running hi gain plugins. But live when I had to crank my amp it really messed with the sound. Made my hi gain metal amp sound like a pushed clean gritty rock sound. Thought it was the amp at first until switching out the NUX for a cable, resolving the issue. I charged the unit the morning before the show and even double checked it before going onstage and it had sufficient charge. Possibly a rare occurrence but unfortunately I can’t recommend this for live application which ironically is what it’s built for. Will most likely return.

Can't beat NUX
I bought the 5.8GHz to replace my NUX B-2 2.4GHz which I bought in 2018. ( other than during covid they have been getting used at a gig every weekend). The only reason for replacing is that the transmitter battery wont quite do a 4 hr gig anymore. I tried the new NUX as soon as I got it in the man cave. Connected straight away without any dramas. No lag and crystal clear. I walked outside and down the driveway about 15m away and it was still going strong. Tomorrow night (Saturday) and Sunday it will be put to the test at gigs

Great concept but sounds like garbage
I like the case recharging function but unfortunately it just sounds crackly. I did somewhat of a control test using a guitar cable, a Lekato 5.8gHz Wireless (similar to NUX) and the NUX, playing a loop through my Quad Cortex in to Cubase Pro via the Wireless. All waveforms look almost identical and the Lekato and Cable have no audible difference. The NUX sounded almost like it was clipping despite being the same level etc.. it was quite crackly.. anyway, it’s a shame because i love the charging case but it just sounds too crap to use live.

Really good unit with a 5.8GHz frequency. Artist Guitar folks recommended the 5.8GHz one which I would also recommend over the B5RC for$20-30 more. Simply just works
Purchased this after I snapped my Ammoon 5.8 transmitter because it dangled from the jack. The Nux is about half the size and it stays tucked away high will make less likely to be bumped into something. This really is just a plug the transmit and receive units in, turn them, wait 2 seconds to connect and then play. That simple and no annoying cables. I haven’t”t had any noise or interference issues so far, and most of my playing is sitting next to a laptop with my mobile close by. An old Xvive 2.4GHz system I had did get interference. Battery life isn’t huge, probably due to the size, but certainly plenty for a gig or a 3 hour rehearsal. The storage case has a battery which provides at least 2 charges to the units which is great. Overall, recommended if you are in the market for a simple wireless system. And trust me, you will love not having cables getting tangled all the time!
