Product Description

Joyo R31 Para Verb Stereo Reverb Guitar Effects Pedal

The JOYO R-31 Para Verb is a compact stereo reverb pedal designed to give guitarists a wide range of high-quality reverb sounds, all in one pedal! It offers nine distinct reverb modes, including Room, Hall, Church, Plate, Spring, Shimmer, Cloud, Trail, and Ducking. Each mode is designed to provide a different type of reverb, from short and natural to large and atmospheric, making the pedal suitable for everything from subtle ambience to expansive soundscapes.

The Para Verb features true stereo input and output, allowing for a wider and more immersive sound when used in stereo setups. This makes it ideal for players running stereo rigs on stage or in the studio. The pedal also includes standard controls for Decay, Tone, and Mix, allowing you to shape the reverb length, brightness, and wet/dry balance to suit your sound.

One of the standout features is the Ducking mode, which automatically lowers the reverb level while you’re playing and brings it back up when you stop. This helps keep your notes clear and defined without losing the depth that reverb adds. The pedal also includes a Trail Bypass option, so your reverb fades out naturally after you turn the effect off, rather than cutting off abruptly. A Trail Hold function is also included, allowing you to sustain reverb textures when needed.

Built with a rugged metal enclosure and equipped with clear LED indicators for mode selection and on/off status, the Para Verb is made for regular gigging and heavy use. Its compact design makes it easy to fit into any pedalboard setup.

Joyo Para Verb

I was having a lot of issues with noise when engaging the pedal but after some testing I found by putting all my pedals through the front of my Blackstar 50R instead of the Effects Loop all my problems disappeared. The Para Verb is an amazing bit of kit with some outstanding Reverbs. The Dream and the Spring are the ones that stand out the most for me. If your in the market for a usable Reverb Pedal that is cost effective this is the one. All 9 Reverbs are very usable. I'm sure you could find a Reverb that suits your needs amongst the 9 Reverbs on offer. So give it a go you won't be disappointed. Note: I think the Effects Loop on my Blackstar 50R doesn't suit all Pedals, so if your Amp has an Effects Loop I don't think you'll have the same issues I had.

Thanks so much for sharing your experience! We’re glad you found a setup that works well with your Blackstar and that the Para Verb is delivering those standout Dream and Spring reverbs for you. It’s great to hear you find all nine reverbs usable and cost‑effective. Your feedback will definitely help others get the most out of their pedal, too.
