Joyo JW03 2.4GHz Instrument Wireless System
This is a wireless system that will work with most electro-acoustic instruments and amps. It boasts a delay time of fewer than 5 milliseconds giving you a seamless and lossless signal. It has a built-in rechargeable Lithium Battery that can be used for approximately 8 hours on a full charge.
You can use up to 4 units simultaneously. This allows the unit to utilize its anti-interference method via frequency hopping. The transmitter and receiver feature a transmission distance of more than 20 meters.

Most guitarists, I guess, have wireless systems so they can stray far from their pedalboard or amp. That’s not the case for me — I play in a large church worship band, and I’m anchored firmly at the back of the stage, with my pedalboard right at my feet, and my amp (and FOH output) right next to me. So why the wireless gear? Well, although I’m primarily a bassist, I sometimes play both 6-string and 12-string acoustics, and after multiple swaps between each of them during a set, I find it’s easy to get cables tangled, or (worse still) trip over them while I’m exiting the stage. So, I bought two sets of JW-03s, and I’ve eliminated those cables by plugging one transmitter into the 6-string, the other into the 12-string, and then both receivers into switchable input jacks on a Boss LS-2 that allows me to select which guitar I’m using— the JW-03s make swapping between numbers quicker, and I’m less likely to fall on my face when there aren’t multiple leads at my feet. ….. I’ve found the JW-03 a good unit; easily charged (charging cable supplied), easily paired up, and fairly easy to change to one of the four possible channels (I have the 6-string on channel 1, the 12-string on channel 2). If I had any criticism, it would be that you can’t tell which channel is selected simply by looking at the transmitter or receiver; rather, you have to double-click the pairing button on the transmitter, and count the number of amber flashes you see (one flash for channel one, two flashes for channel 2, you get the idea! :-) It’s not an ideal solution, but then it’s something I’ll do only rarely, since I simply leave each pair set up with its assigned channel. As I said earlier, I don’t need these to work at long distance, but nevertheless I did try them during rehearsal by playing at one end of the church, with my pedalboard/amp at the other end (20 metres or so), and they worked fine. ….. I played a two-and-a-half-hour set today, and the JW-03 performed flawlessly. I can’t detect any latency issues, and I had no interference on the 2.4GHz band (which may just reflect that I’m lucky to not be surrounded by too many competing devices — if that could be a problem for you, you may need a 5.8GHz unit, but those are typically more expensive). Recharging time at the end of that two-and-a-half-hours was around 30 minutes. I haven’t tested the claimed eight-hour battery life, but I’m confident that will hold up, particularly as I don’t anticipate needing any more than a maximum, say, four hours. At the price, the JW-03 is very good value, and the Joyo name gives me confidence that it will last the distance. (Have bought a lot of Joyo gear over the years.) ….. In fact, I later ordered a third set from A.G. for use with my bass, and it works just fine with that too.

Just go so sick of cables everywhere and started looking at wireless options. For the longest time, price was a big factor that was off putting to say the least. Saw these options at Artist Guitars and thought it was a pretty small outlay for something that could help a lot on stage. Initially I was thinking this would give me an idea if wireless was for me, and then I would go and invest a bit more in a 'better' system. No need. From the first plug in and sync, these have performed flawlessly. I am so happy with how they have literally replaced cable chaos with a sleek, easy to use piece of freedom. I purchased this item because of all the positive reviews on them and I wasn’t disappointed as they are so easy to use and if you are in close proximity to the receiver (10 feet or so) there is no noticeable delay in signal that I can detect. I use it for my bass guitar and cannot fault it. You could pay a lot more for other brands, but I can’t see how they could be any better. Give them a try.

Received a few days late due to delivery delays and didn’t arrive on time as I wanted it on my Gig night. But it finally turned up. Tried it out on my portable amp and I was surprised of the outcome. I wandered around my front yard to see how far it could go and I ended up hearing it from my letterbox of the amplifier. Bought this to see if these units would be viable for school performances. Plugged the things in, connecting the transmitter/receiver was super easy, and just like that I was cable free. I had only ever experimented with a very cheap rack mounted wireless system some 15 years ago, and I did not like it one bit, so I had reservations, but wireless tech has come a long way! Minimal tone loss (certainly not enough to be concerning for high school performances), zero interference from the wifi that fills the air of a school, and the range meant that I could pester kids in the corridor without removing my guitar I was playing in the staffroom. I’ll be chatting to the boss asap to order a few more of these units so we can be completely wireless at our school showcases!

These things really are great. I have been using them onstage and LOVE the fact that I no longer trip on my cable. There is not discernible change in quality between using these vs a cable, and the range is brilliant. Allows me to finally roam around with my guitar, which I've loved. I was skeptical about the 8 hour battery life, however so far they have lived up to all expectations! There is a very slight delay (I think 5ms) when using these, however for most purposes this shouldn't be a huge issue. Definitely want a couple more sets of these for my other guitars. Thank you!!

Very fast to connect/syc. Basically turn both transmitter and receiver on and they automatically connect in a few seconds. No latency with in 8ft, beyond that and I can start to hear a very slight delay which increases with distance. No major issue for me as I was planning to only use them for home practice but I wouldn't use live. My issue is with sound quality. Maybe I have a defect with mine but there is a static that affects the sound no matter the distance. Not at all suitable for recording. I'm using it but only because of the convenient of no cables. I will be upgrading to another brand. Although they are on the cheaper price end I was expecting at least a clear signal. Will try and get a refund but I already threw out the box... Silly me.

I've owned these for a couple of months now or so. They generally perform as advertised, at least initially. Very simple to operate, no issues with signal dropout (in my garage at least), and good battery life. At full charge, the latency is unnoticeable. However, after 1-2 hours of use (note the battery is advertised at about 8 hours), the latency consistently increases to about 30-40ms (note, advertised to be <5ms), which is enough to be noticeable, annoying, and for me to just use a cable instead. This has happened to me pretty consistently, and the only thing that changes is that the battery of the unit drains. Nobody else playing is using a wireless unit. I'm unsure if I have a dud unit or of this is a design flaw in the electronics, I'd been keen to hear Artist's opinion. Regardless, if you're just messing around at home on your own, the latency problem isn't too bad. If you're playing with others it can get annoying quickly.

As a owner of a few Joyo products, there was no hesitation on my behalf on buying these. Delivery was quicker than expected and charged out of the box worked a treat. This is a game changer! For so long I’ve had leads all over the place, I like to keep my guitars and amps out so I can play them whenever - but leads are damn ugly and annoying dangling and tangling around when you’re playing and moving. The Joyo JW03 is nice and clear and I was surprised by the battery life. Super easy to use and the light lets you know it’s on so you don’t leave it on accidentally. It holds charge well really just a flick of a switch and your cordless and off and running. When it finally comes time for charging both units can be charging at the same time with the included charger. So that’s handy. Will be using it for a gig this Sunday as I’ve not had a reason to hesitate on it’s reliability. I plug it into my helix and my guitar - I can’t wait to be that much more free on stage.
