Superlux HD672 Semi-Open Monitoring Headphones
Superlux HD672 Over Ear Monitoring Headphones
The Superlux HD672 is a semi-open dynamic over-ear headphone equipped with 50mm precision composite transducers. Its balanced frequency response, high sensitivity and low impedance provide exceptional sound quality with clarity and detail. These Superlux HD672 headphones can be used with a wide variety of audio inputs and are well suited for home, studio or portable music monitoring and appreciation applications. They are equipped with a self-adjusting headband and the ear pads are made from a unique and innovative soft composite material that is easy to clean, cool on your ears and will not compress or flake over time like conventional pleather pads.
Superluxs HD672 headphones are lightweight, cool and durable. They are extremely comfortable and enjoyable during long listening sessions. The overall sound is quite neutral over an extended frequency response with tight bass, well placed mids and highs that are clear and detailed. The headphones are very dynamic and have outstanding spatial distribution while providing excellent isolation. These qualities make the HD672 an ideal choice for both music appreciation and monitoring.

Good sound, great value.By: Paul L on 9 October 2020Was looking for something that's cheap and more durable compared to Alessandro MS1i (similar to Grado SR-60e?) due to having a toddler around. Sound profile is quite similar with the headphone mentioned above, with slightly more extended bass, slightly narrower soundstage. The item photo isn't as accurate as it has no detachable cable, or exposed drivers (has a fine screen over it). Maybe they have updated them? Silicone ear-pads are surprisingly quite comfortable. In the end, for $16 extra compared to HD681, it suits my use well. Looks better too.
Good buying for the priceBy: Alan on 4 January 2019I'd rate these headphones as excellent at AG's price and, in that context, I've given them 5 stars. That doesn't mean that they're perfect, or the world's best headphones, but you'd need to look around a fair bit to find better value. I've listened to a range of genres from quiet classical to rockin' Billy Thorpe, and the sound is well balanced, with good bass that's not too "boomy", and well-rounded mids and highs. The earpieces are quite large and comfortable. The stereo connector as supplied is a mini (3.5 mm TRS), but there's also a converter supplied that will transform that to a standard (6.35 mm TRS) jack plug .......... Overall, another good-value Artist Guitars product.

Never again, will I pay 240 dollars for a pair of Headphones, When I think of how many 240 dollar lots I handed over for so many years, I just can't believe it The Superlux cans are just so great, long lasting and robust ,they are just so fantastic and reasonabley priced to what cans should be priced, Gee ,when i think of all those 240 bucks I could have saved if I had known about Suplux over the years I whould have saved a fortune.Buy Superlux , the only way to go with cans. Can you understand that, get yourself a pair, you'll soon see for yourself what I mean. It's got to be SUPERLUX CANS.
