The Artist LSPSCEQ is a full scale steel-string acoustic-electric guitar designed with a slimmed-down, small body profile. While it maintains a standard playing length, the lower bout of the instrument is noticeably more compact than a traditional dreadnought, making it the perfect choice for smaller-framed players or teens who want a full-sized feel without the bulk.
Balanced Acoustic Tone & Stage-Ready Versatility
By utilising a smaller body shape, the LSPSCEQ delivers a focused, punchy acoustic tone with excellent mid-range clarity, making it exceptionally well-suited for acoustic rock, pop, folk, and country styles. Whether you're strumming open chords for folk and country or playing crisp rhythm parts for rock and pop, the body features an elegant cutaway design that gives you easy, uninhibited access to the higher frets on the fingerboard. For ultimate flexibility, it comes equipped with a built-in pickup system and an integrated equaliser, allowing you to plug directly into a guitar amplifier, PA system, or recording interface for high-quality amplified sound.
Tailored Comfort & Optimized Action
Designed primarily for comfort, the thinner body design allows the instrument to rest closer to you, reducing arm strain during long practice sessions. To ensure a smooth learning process and minimize finger fatigue, the LSPSCEQ is set up at the factory with low string action, making chords significantly easier to press down without causing fret buzz. It also features a built-in adjustable truss rod to counteract the shifting effects of weather, alongside premium die-cast machine heads that turn smoothly to deliver rock-solid tuning stability.

We ship all orders for free. All deliveries are insured so if an item arrives damaged we'll happily refund or replace it for you. Check our warranty page for more information.
Purchases with Artist Guitars come with a 3-year Warranty. Warranty is only valid to the original purchaser and in the original country of purchase. Please take note of your order number to help us verify your purchase in the event of a warranty claim.
If the issue can be fixed by replacing a part, we will send it to you free of charge. Spare parts are shipped from our office in Sydney, Australia. If more extensive work is required our Customer Happiness department will arrange a free return slip or courier collection to get your item returned for further assessment.
Also included in your warranty is our industry leading 100 Days Change of Mind Policy
If you're not completely satisfied with the quality of any of our products, we'll be happy to arrange a free return of your product for an exchange or full refund, including any shipping charges. This also covers instances where you may have bought the wrong size or if you simply change your mind.
If you do require a return, just Open a Support Ticket and we'll either send you a reply paid label for Australia Post or arrange for a collection by courier. This will depend on your location and the product you purchased. If you have any trouble you can contact us.

I'm a 64yo Total Guitar Novice. The Last Time I Had Any Musical Experience was 50years ago. This guitar is just right to have next to me on the lounge to pick up and casually strum while watching tv, or when I want to get serious and plug it into my amp. The built in tuner is so handy. No need for another gadget or trying to tune from a YouTube video like I'd been doing with my old nylon string guitar. I bought this one for my 13 year old daughter, she picked it out from the web site herself, so she was waiting excitedly for it's arrival. I must say I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality finish and attention to detail. It plays very nicely too, and it sounds bright and crisp when plugged into an acoustic amp. I would recommend this one for anyone looking for a quality first guitar, or perhaps a nice little traveller, it's quality represents extremely good value for the price. I have recently purchased several guitars from Artist, as a player of nearly 50 years, am completely sold on them, and I cant wait to see the newer models as they are released.
