Gigagain GP03 Gainster High Gain Preamp Guitar Effects Pedal
The Gigagain Gainster is a high-gain pre-amp pedal engineered for heavy music players who demand searing distortion, massive low-end authority and versatile signal routing. Built to offer significantly more gain than classic distortion stompboxes, the Gainster can function either as an amp-in-a-box pre-amp running directly into your amplifier's FX Loop Return or as a high-powered distortion pedal plugged straight into the front Input of your rig.
Whether you need rich, singing sustain for fluid solos or aggressive, punchy attack for tight mechanical riffs, the Gainster provides two distinct channels designed to meet the demands of modern heavy guitar styles.
Dual High-Gain Channels for Melodic Solos and Riffs
To cover a broader range of high-gain textures, the Gainster incorporates a dedicated CH.1 / CH.2 toggle switch.
CH.1: Optimised for melodic playing, delivering a rich, saturated tone with smooth sustain that lets lead passages cut through with authority.
CH.2: Tuned for mechanical riffing and palm-muted stabs, supplying a tight, aggressive response with a punchy low-end thud.
This dual-voiced design gives heavy players instant access to the exact gain structure required for both rhythm and lead performance.
Integrated Power Management and Signal Flow
The Gainster features a dedicated Power Switch to give you total control over power management on your pedalboard. Toggling the switch to ON engages the pedal for immediate performance. Switching to OFF completely cuts internal power, preventing battery drain during storage and protecting internal components when running on external power supply rigs.
Housed in a rugged enclosure built to withstand aggressive stage use, the Gainster delivers high-headroom distortion and flexible pre-amp integration for metal, hard rock and modern high-gain setups.
