I mean sure, I could spend four grand on an ES335 but I don't feel like it is three and a half grand more guitar than what I got from Artist. This is a great guitar: the hardware is solid and well behaved, the neck is comfortable, the frets well rounded, the body is beautifully finished and the walnut top looks pretty special. It came with a hard case as good as any I've owned too. It needed some setup work to eliminate some buzz but few guitars don't. My only genuine gripe is that the nut was a little sharp on one corner.

Artist JC450 Brown Arch Top Hard Guitar Case Fits 335 Style
This guitar case has been designed to fit a Gibson ES335, 345, 355 and the Epiphone equivalents. Externally, The depth of the case at the edges is 116mm and the depth at the centre measures 140mm.
Suits - Gibson 335 or similar and Ibanez AS93.
This Hard Case has sturdy wooden construction with a lockable Latch (the key is inside the case). It has a great little compartment for all your accessories and spare strings. It also has a small pad to support the body.
Note: This is not suitable for an ES339. This case is not suitable for the Gibson "Dave Grohl" DG335 model guitar as it has a Firebird style headstock which makes the guitar too long for the JC450 case.
