I already have the JOYO JP05 but wanted to build a small pedal board for another amp. This Artist branded one has less capacity, output options and ports than the JOYO but does the job well enough [so far]. My only complaint [hence 4 stars] is that the supplied power leads should have right-angle plugs on one end as straight plugs prevent some pedals being placed as close together as using right-angled patch cables allow..

Looked around for a small reasonably priced power supply that incorporated a power bank and found this little beauty. Works well powering up to 10 pedals from the 7 outlets with a battery bank twice what others offer for a higher price. Am very satisfied with performance, simple slim line design for a highly competitive price. Can power up a mobile phone. Uses a USC power chord rather than standard 9v charging chord like a phone, not a problem for me but may put some off. Happy with purchase as it was what I could afford at the time. Happy with this power supply but take note.
I’m very happy with this power supply, but I was caught out once with it going flat after 5 minutes, even though it had been plugged into charge up that day for at least 6 hours. After much investigation, I noticed that sometimes if you leave the usb C plug in the unit at home all the time, and just turn the wall switch off, that when you turn the wall switch back on the next day for example to practise that the unit doesn’t register that it’s plugged into the power, and that you’ll actually be running down the battery without realising it even though the unit is plugged in. The remedy is to pull the USB C connector out of the unit then plug it back into the unit again and that seems to reset it so that it accepts charge again. Just check that red light, if it’s not on it’s not charging. Other than that, very happy with the unit.

Great...issue fix with Baggs Voiceprint IR pedal
Work as described..awesome battery solution. Maybe worth noting for acoustic players using Baggs Voiceprint DI you will need another seperate/isolated battery to power those units. If running these off the one battery a fairly noticeable hum occurs, if using other pedals, regardless of any ground lift options. Fixed this problem by running the unit of a seperate battery so have two under the board. Not enough power to use my Tonedexter so have the Baggs VP on this board...otherwise great!!!

Initially it did not power all the pedals. The problem is that old Boss pedals need 12 v when running on power adaptor as there is a resistor and diode in the circuit to bring the unregulated 12 v down to 9 v. Once I removed the components from the pedals it is working great. If your pedal use ACA 240 adaptor, you will have to modify the pedals. I have marked down from 5 only because this should be stated in the specs of the power bank.

I can't fault this unit for the price. I have a big board but I leave it at home for rehearsals and gigs, just taking the required pedals on a mini board. I was at rehearsal last week using a 1 Spot and a daisy chain and the noise was driving me crazy so I had to sort that. I use a Zuma via a Gigrig G2 on the big board and it's super quiet, so I knew I wasn't going to get that but wanted something better than the 1 Spot. I started my search considering an Ojai R30 (so it would fit under the small board) but for $300 I couldn't justify the purchase. I kept looking, asking etc and stumbled over the Artist PBB01. I wasn't looking for a battery pack type supply, but was interested when I considered not having to power it by a mains supply. Well I'm so glad I found it! Just awesome. So I've used it at a 3 hour rehearsal and at home for another 2 and a half hours without charging. The noise I experienced from the 1 Spot is gone. It's not as quiet as my Zuma and G2 but I never thought it would be. It's not about that. For $79 bucks the freedom and versatility of this unit is incredible. Not silent but so much better than a 1 Spot and you don't have any cable from it to mains. I absolutely recommend this for anyone looking for a portable pedalboard power supply. I've got it on charge now for tomorrow nights 3hr rehearsal and I know I could probably get the same out of it again. Like I said in the title, Super Impressed.

I stumbled across this by accident when looking for yet another 9 volt wall wart for a neice. The PBB01 Pedal Effects Battery power Bank is a wonderful piece of kit for anyone, muso or not. Of course it will power up to 7 pedals for an entire gig, thus removing the need for wall wart(s) - but more, it provides a USB power source to charge/power the majority of your portable devices. I have a couple of pedal boards set up, acoustic and electric but I have but one PBB01. At under AU$80, I'll take care of that this week.

PBB01 Pedal Battery: Perfect for Busking
All the Artist products that I’ve purchased have been very good value for money, and this pedal battery bank is no exception. The first thing to comment upon is that the casing is robust, and it's a compact, relatively small unit. It comes with complimentary leads and clear instructions. An unexpected bonus is that you can use the battery bank for keeping your mobile alive on long car journeys, as well as for its prime usage, busking or gigging where access to mains power is not guaranteed. I use the PBB01 for my second (acoustic only), homemade wooden pedal board for busking. It powers a mini looper and a vocaliser plus an EQ pedal very reliably. In terms of it's design and functionality the only thing that I would amend is to have 3/7 of the power outputs higher than 100mA. Presently 6/7 of the outputs are 9Volt/100mA, which is too low to power older and ‘more energy hungry’ pedals. Ideally I’d like 9V output sockets producing 1x 1300 mA, and 2x 500 mA and the rest 100 mA. But this specification might push the price beyond the very reasonable one that Artist Guitars are charging. Overall - highly recommended.

I am giving this little pocket sized power supply five stars just because I can’t give it six. A functional and compact little unit that offers plenty of of power for those who don’t want or can’t connect to a wall supply. I bought one of these because $70 for 8 power outlets.. Why not?? It was working fine, no sound issues and then a small issue occurred with the power button. I was not angry. At that price some sort of issue perhaps could be expected. So Sunday it failed, Monday I spoke to the customer service team. Sent a video of the issue. I had a gig on Wednesday night and needed to get the replacement. They understood, agreed to the replacement and had the new one shipped to me before Wednesday's gig. (I live in a rural location) So understanding, so professional. I have no probs giving 5 stars. The failure of the product could have happened to any one.
