The latest iteration of a much-loved classic, the new Artist ApricusII keeps everything you loved about the Apricus, with a tonne of new specifications that eclipse its predecessor in every department! With 22 stainless steel frets along the length of a gorgeous 14" radiused rosewood fretboard, the ApricusII is custom-made for the lead guitarists among you, with a fretboard perfect for searing solos up and down the quartersawn roasted maple neck.
We've loaded this one with a set of vintage-output Laohao Alnico V humbuckers. These high-end pickups bring ultra-smooth mid-range, crystalline highs, and dynamic touch sensitivity - plenty of bark without the kind of scooped compression which a more modern high-output humbucker tends to exhibit. If you're after even more dynamic range, simply pull the dual push/pull pots to split the coils for ultra articulate single-coil sounds - chimy, classic rock sparkle, or bluesy single-coil grit... whatever tone you're chasing, the ApricusII can make it happen!
Every detail has been pored over with this one - a bone nut, copper foil shielding, a wheeled string tree and locking strap buttons are among a host of features that make this your perfect modern instrument!
