Artist EDK822-PK 8-Piece Electronic Drumkit Full Pack
The drumkit features an 8-inch mesh snare pad, an 8-inch kick drum, 3 pieces of 8-inch Tom Pads, and 3 pieces of 10-inch cymbal pads. Each pad can be assigned a specific tone from the 222 sounds loaded in the EDK822's module. The kit also features a rim trigger for the snare and a choke function for both the crash and ride cymbals.
It offers 10 preset drumkits and 5 user customizable kits. It is perfect for both long time players and beginners alike. Players can utilize its built-in coaching function with 20 basic rhythm exercises and 3 advanced rhythm exercises. The drumkit is perfect for recording and practising with its recording and playback feature. It also features an auxiliary input and MIDI out to play along or record with your favourite tracks.
The drumkit can be used with any headphones and not just the included one. The kit can also be connected to an external amplifier or a mixer making it a portable option for gigs.

We ship all orders for free. All deliveries are insured so if an item arrives damaged we'll happily refund or replace it for you. Check our warranty page for more information.
Purchases with Artist Guitars come with a 3-year Warranty. Warranty is only valid to the original purchaser and in the original country of purchase. Please take note of your order number to help us verify your purchase in the event of a warranty claim.
If the issue can be fixed by replacing a part, we will send it to you free of charge. Spare parts are shipped from our office in Sydney, Australia. If more extensive work is required our Customer Happiness department will arrange a free return slip or courier collection to get your item returned for further assessment.
Also included in your warranty is our industry leading 100 Days Change of Mind Policy
If you're not completely satisfied with the quality of any of our products, we'll be happy to arrange a free return of your product for an exchange or full refund, including any shipping charges. This also covers instances where you may have bought the wrong size or if you simply change your mind.
If you do require a return, just Open a Support Ticket and we'll either send you a reply paid label for Australia Post or arrange for a collection by courier. This will depend on your location and the product you purchased. If you have any trouble you can contact us.

Great affordable kit for beginners
Got this for my daughter for Christmas 2025 and it's been great. At this price point it's really good. We had one issue but Artist Guitars helped us troubleshoot and sent out a replacement part very quickly and were friendly and courteous the entire time.

Terrible Product
This was given to me as a present for Christmas, and was one of the most disappointing gifts I've ever received. The pads are terrible, feels cramped and too small. Along with this, I find that with my custom kit, the cymbals sometimes decide to revert to the default one because they feel like it. If I'm trying to play fast, half the hits don't register, and it sounds like it's got 3 different sound volumes depending on how hard I hit it. If you're looking for a budget drum kit, just save up the $70 and buy an Alesis Nitro Max. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS MY PARENTS!!!!!

This is very good!
This drum set is very good for someone who wants to begin drumming, however the instructions could be a lot better, like a lot. It was very confusing putting this together, but it’s still very good. I also found that some hits don’t register but for anyone who has the same problems check your sensitivity and that will fix the problem. Overall really good for the price, would recommend.

This is so confusing
Putting the drum-kit together is a night mare it took me 3 hours and I still don’t think I did it right. The instructions don’t specify anythung or use measurements for height and width. I ended up w a few spares nuts and bolts I didn’t use bc I was never told to and the image for the instructions as well is tiny and uses 1 terrible angle for most steps. The kick pedal was probably the worst piece to figure out it made no sense when I was building it and what it had on the image was not the same as what the kick pedal actually looked like.Besides putting it together and not k owing where the spare pieces go though this drum-kit works well and has a lot of great setting.

This thing sucks.
I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy. The thing is just plain bad. The kick pad is worn out after a month, the cymbals work half the time and there's no choke function. The entire thing likes to lag out and not register any hits, either being really quiet or just not working at all. The surface of the toms they chose is not ideal, it gets really gross and greasy after a while. The kick pedal sounds like I'm banging two metal pipes together, and the beater falls out constantly. And don't get me started on the throne. It feels like sitting on a 360 rocking chair. It would probably feel alright if they didn't forget to include a piece for it. Did I forget to mention they forgot to include a bunch of pieces for it?? And the module feels like a calculator developed in the 1980's by a kid who doesn't know what electronics is. All in all, just don't buy this thing.

Brilliant Product !
After some research I decided on this kit as it covered my requirements for returning to the drums after a long break away . The delivery turnaround time was excellent and the kit came in days using the free delivery courier option. Easy to set up and versatile for right and left handed drummers. I was surprised at the quality of sound from the headphones which is great. Sounds awesome through a speaker too and the obvious benefit is the quiet for family and neighbours ! Would recommend very highly and would suggest the Drumless samples available through Spotify to play along to.

I am not a drummer! I have hankered forever to be a multi-instrumentalist starting with harmonica through bugle, trumpet, guitars and keys - indeed, whatever comes my way. I've loved them all but excelled at none. The Artist EDK822 8-Piece Electronic Drumkit arrived in my Inbox at a price too good to miss . . . so I bought it! Thanks Artist. Delivery was very quick and the kit boxed beautifully. Assembly took about 30 minutes with frequent reference to reasonable instructions. Never-the-less, upon completion, I determined that I should break down the kit and re-assemble it. Before hand tho', I enjoyed a lengthy familiarization and play with the kit. I was delighted to find so many useful functions - for example, over 200 different instrument tones and the ability to assign anyone of them to any pad/cymbal, even snare rim or HH pedal . . . haha! Set cowbell on multiple triggers! You can adjust volume and sensitivity for each tone as well as assembling and saving up to 5 custom drumkits. BTW, you start with 10 pre-installed kits plus the 5 user programmable kits mentioned. Have no doubt the EDK822 hasn't the "bounce" of real skins and thus may be a little less easily learnt. But I'm sure that I and the other great pretender musos in my family will continue to have a wonderful time as we develop our chops. A competent drummer mate had a go and was surprised at the number and quality of tones available. The playability - not so. I thought he and the kit were great! In addition to Kits, you have Coach, Voice, Songs, Record, Tempo, Metronome, Utility, Menu functions and more Dealing with the frame, I had put a couple of tubes the wrong way around. The re-assembly after playing for a time corrected that and also enabled better set-up of pad/cymbal height and angles. Overall, I'm very pleased with the purchase - we will enjoy it for a good while I expect. Further, I can report that I might even be getting better.
