Castle Hill - Kim Bartlett - Gigatar

Hi, I’m Kim Bartlett, founder of Gigatar. I’ve been playing guitar for over 30 years and offer one-on-one private lessons from my home studio in Castle Hill.

Lessons are tailored to your goals and musical interests; whether you’re a complete beginner, returning to guitar after a break, or looking to improve your technique and musical understanding. All ages welcome.

I aim to make learning guitar both enjoyable and practical, while helping students build strong musical foundations and real playing confidence.

Lessons can cover:

• Rhythm guitar, chords, and strumming
• Lead guitar, scales, fretboard knowledge, and technique
• Reading music (tab, chord charts, rhythm, notation)
• Guitar-focused music theory
• Rhythm and timing
• Songwriting and composition
• Playing with other musicians
• Gear selection and basic guitar maintenance
