The Joyo D-Seed II is one of those rare pedals that truly punches above its price point. For players who want the flexibility of a high-end delay without breaking the bank, this little box delivers in spades. Key Features Dual Channels / Presets: Save two completely different delay settings and switch between them instantly. Perfect for live use. Eight Delay Modes: Copy, Analog, Tape, Filter, Reverse, Lo-Fi, Space, and Modulation — covering everything from crisp digital repeats to lush ambient textures. Looper Function: Up to 3.5 minutes of looping, making it more versatile than many delays in its class. Tap Tempo & Ping-Pong Toggle: Easy syncing with your playing, plus stereo-style movement for added depth. Compact Footprint: Compared to classics like the Korg SDD-3000, the D-Seed II offers similar sonic territory in a much smaller, pedalboard-friendly enclosure. Sound & Performance What stands out most is how musical and inspiring this pedal feels. The repeats are clear without being sterile, and the analog/tape modes add warmth and character. The modulation and space settings can get wonderfully atmospheric, while the reverse and lo-fi modes push into experimental territory. I’ve used the Korg SDD-3000 before, and while that rack unit is legendary, the D-Seed II captures much of its vibe in a far more practical format. It’s not a 1:1 clone, but it scratches the same creative itch — especially for players who want that iconic delay flavor without hauling vintage gear. Value At its price, the D-Seed II is almost shockingly good. You’d expect compromises, but aside from slightly sparse documentation and a bit of a learning curve with the looper, it’s hard to fault. Build quality is solid, the controls are intuitive once you get used to them, and the tonal range rivals pedals costing two or three times as much. Verdict The Joyo D-Seed II is a workhorse delay that can cover everything from subtle slapback to expansive ambient washes. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly pedal that doesn’t feel budget in sound or features, this is a no-brainer. For me, it’s replaced my SDD-3000 in daily use — same effect, smaller footprint, and way easier to gig with. ⭐ Rating: 4.5/5 — A giant-killer delay pedal

It’s sounds AWESOME but…

Hello, Let me tell you, this pedal is so worth it for its cheap price tag, it’s definitely up there with boss. I love all the different modes and how they sound as well as the ping pong switch. The only think that does annoy me though is the fact that every time I change the mode or rhythm of the delay, it always resets the tempo and it’s annoying to find the perfect tempo again. Another piece of feedback is that I recommend that the FAVOURITE option should also be able to work after only pressing just the FAVOURITE button instead of both pedals, that would get quite annoying during gigs. Anyway, this pedal sounds amazing and is definitely worth it for the price, it’s just the little things that bug me a bit.

Good pedal, let down somewhat by sparse documentat

I had the original D-Seed some years back, but sold it when I switched to playing bass. Now that I'm back to also doing guitar, I decided on the mark 2 version of the pedal for reverb purposes. In short, it has a good range of features, including a wealth of reverb types., combined with the knobs that allow adequate tweaking thereof. (I admit I don't need the Looper section, so can't comment on that.) My only criticism is that the "manual" as supplied (one A4 page of info) is not comprehensive enough to cover more than the basics. For example, the FAVORITE button is not properly explained, and it took me a while to realise that it's not just an on/off switch for a favourite setting, but rather a switch to alternate between TWO favourite settings! I can understand that Joyo didn't want to make the pedal seem too complicated, but I suggest they need a "basics" section, followed by an in-depth run-down for advanced users. So, 5 stars for the pedal, but marked down to 4 for poor documentation.

Great delay pedal and great service

This is a fantastic stereo delay pedal that punches above it's asking price. The lo-fi setting sounds really cool and it sounds good paired up with a stereo reverb to create some interesting atmospheric sounds, which is why I bought it. The build quality feels pretty solid, can't imagine it being an issue but I use mine strictly in a studio environment. Overall I was very pleased with how it sounds and it's features. Artist guitars are also extremely fast with their delivery and are always on point. I've ordered a few pedals and gear off here and I'm always impressed with the service.

great value for money FX pedal

I've heard that this pedal is similar to a Strymon digital delay. Great array of features and really simple to program. I've taken my classic Boss DD 20 off my board to try this one out and it'll do everything that the Boss does.

I really like this pedal, both the range of delay sounds and the looper function work really well. At this price it's an absolute bargain! And once again, Artist Guitars are a great team to deal with, honest, helpful and they deliver so quickly, inspite of the Covid postal delays. Many thanks and I'll be back for more great gear in the future.

Great pedal, multiple delay effects and really versatile - lots of sounds available with a little bit of experimentation. The dual channel two amp effect sounds amazing!
