Product Description

Artist AT69 Black Electric Guitar w/ Howler Pickups

You asked, and we delivered! We're stoked to introduce the Artist AT69 to the range! Great for everyone from beginners to experienced players, this classy-looking semi-hollow features a set of our stacked Artist Howler P90 pickups featuring built-in coil-splitting to deliver everything from noise-free, breathy blues tones to classic single-coil bite that breaks up brilliantly when paired with a cranked tube amplifier. The C-shaped roasted maple neck, bone nut, locking tuners, and modern 6-saddle hardtail bridge ensure the AT69 performs just as superbly as it sounds, staying perfectly in tune as you bend your heart out!

The semi-hollow construction of the AT69's mahogany body makes it a lighter alternative to a solid body. Single master volume and push/pull tone knobs keep the AT69 elegantly simple to dial in while unlocking dual- or single-coil tones at a moment's notice. Just strap it on, turn up your amp, and get out of the way... the AT69 will do the rest.

AT69 great for the price

This is my 4th artist guitar and I reckon this has been the best one yet in terms of setup straight from the box. Intonation was basically spot on and the guitar played really nice. I changed from the 10-46 to a set of 9-46 as i prefer the lighter strings and set up the guitar with a lower action. When checking the frets there was 2 high spots that got solved easily with a brass hammer to set the fret better (note this isn't a complaint about artist guitars as my more expensive guitars have had more) the frets are all finished nicely and i just polished them to make them even better. Finish wise the guitar looks great (only issue is in the f-hole the black hasn't been painted correctly in 2 locations but you can only see it when looking close) Sound wise I find myself using the neck pickup most of the time as to me it sounds the best. However the other pickup and blended work really nicely also. If you think you'd like the guitar i'd say just get off the fence and buy it . Great instrument for the price. In my opinion after now 4 guitars from artist you can buy with confidence!!!

Great guitar, love it!

I was after this style of guitar with the P90's in it. It is a great sounding guitar, the pickups are so versatile and sound really good. The set up was a bit low and buzzed a bit out of the box, so I tweaked it. Overall it was set up pretty good. I highly recommend this guitar.
