With an ultra-lightweight nitrocellulose-finished paulownia body, vintage output Alnico V single coil pickups, and the most sought-after neck in our range, the all-new AS69 brings old-world flair to the 21st century in style. Featuring a quartersawn maple neck topped with a bright maple fretboard, the AS69 feels innately familiar under the hand. We've equipped this one with 22 stainless steel frets on a 14-inch radius fretboard, yielding ultra-low action and unmatched durability.
A set of Alnico V single coil pickups delivers classic chime and jangle, with a five-way switch unlocking those lush, out-of-phase sounds immortalised by generations of iconic players. And when you’re craving extra punch, flipping to the bridge unleashes a rich, throaty growl packed with strong mids and a spanky, cutting high end. With a traditional control layout, vintage six-screw tremolo, and ultra-durable modern block saddles, we've kept things simple to ensure the AS69 feels like a refreshing take on a classic - after all, why mess too much with something that just works? Hand-applied copper-foil shielding throughout the cavities significantly curbs 50-cycle hum, giving you the best of that magical single-coil tone while dampening the hum that it comes with.
A set of high-grade Der Jung locking tuners and a 42mm bone nut keep tuning incredibly stable, even under heavy tremolo use. With a set of strap locks included, the AS69 is truly a professional-grade instrument that yearns to be played night after night.

We use Courier services to ship our goods to you as fast as possible. Once the package leaves our warehouse the time to your door depends on your location, and any reported delays in your area.
We ship all orders for free. All deliveries are insured so if an item arrives damaged we'll happily refund or replace it for you. Check our warranty page for more information.
Purchases with Artist Guitars come with a 3-year Warranty. Warranty is only valid to the original purchaser and in the original country of purchase. Please take note of your order number to help us verify your purchase in the event of a warranty claim.
If the issue can be fixed by replacing a part, we will send it to you free of charge. Spare parts are shipped from our office in Sydney, Australia. If more extensive work is required our Customer Happiness department will arrange a free return slip or courier collection to get your item returned for further assessment.
Also included in your warranty is our industry leading 100 Days Change of Mind Policy
If you're not completely satisfied with the quality of any of our products, we'll be happy to arrange a free return of your product for an exchange or full refund, including any shipping charges. This also covers instances where you may have bought the wrong size or if you simply change your mind.
