This bass was returned due to a change of mind, as it did not fit the customer's needs. It's in good condition.
This item is a customer return. We have checked it and think it's in pretty good condition, but this has been returned by a customer and most likely used so there is the possibility of small marks or scratches that we haven't seen. This item is covered under warranty but is not eligible for change of mind returns, unless it's significantly not as described.
Finally, we're bringing the high-end to the low-end! Introducing the Artist APBDLX - combining vintage '50s mojo with modern dependability. Featuring a roasted poplar body, a satin-finished, one-piece roasted maple neck, a classic 9.5" radius Bolivian Rosewood fretboard, and four classic gloss finishes, the APBDLX is nothing revolutionary, which is exactly why you'll love it. After all, why mess with what works?Â
If you're the kind of player who prioritises familiar playability, rugged build quality, dependable hardware, and superior tone over the latest flavour-of-the-month innovation, you'll find everything you ever hoped for in this one! However, that's not to say the APBDLX is your standard, run-of-the-mill bass guitar - it may be simple, but every component on this one has been agonised over to ensure it delivers simplicity like no other. With a 42mm bone nut, bar string tree, high-grade tuning machines, and a high-density, chrome-plated zinc alloy bridge, the APBDLX delivers night after night, gig after gig. Striking a perfect balance between sustain and attack, the top-loader bridge on this one yields countless tonal options, but let's be real - true vintage tone is the name of the game when it comes to this style of bass, and it delivers in spades.
Dial in the vintage-output split coil Alnico V pickup with a classic control configuration - one volume knob, one tone knob. There's no messing about with active circuits and fancy EQ controls here! This pickup is voiced to deliver a rounded, mellow tone that drips like honey - but that's not to say it's a one-trick pony. Like the countless bass-playing heroes who have used a similar style of instrument, you'll be able to dial in everything from smooth jazz tones to aggressive, in-your-face, classic rock punch!
Each APBDLX comes complete with a road-ready, padded gig bag, perfect for transporting from the practice space to the stage and beyond. For a taste of the old world that you won't need to keep in a museum-grade environment, look no further than the APBDLX.
