Harry B
Harry has been with Artist Guitars since April 2023, beginning as a sales and customer service assistant.. Harry does our copywriting (and clearly has trouble speaking about himself in the third person) and runs our social media marketing, among other duties. If you follow us on TikTok you've probably seen his ugly mug once or twice!
Raised on a steady diet of Steely Dan and the Doobie Brothers on his Dad's stereo, Harry (like so many before and after him) heard Nirvana's 'Nevermind' at the age of 12 and very quickly traded Aussie Rules football for power chords and angst! Spending his teenage years watching Sydney DIY bands like Oslow, Hannahband, and Corpus play across record stores and warehouses, a grunge obsession expanded to all manner of emo-adjacent genres - he cites bands like Title Fight, Touche Amore, Pinegrove, and Seahaven as his biggest influences. If the band you're thinking of was signed to Run For Cover, produced by Will Yip, or big in Philly in the early 2010s, chances are Haz knows 'em and loves 'em!
When he's not chatting your ear off in the showroom, Harry sings and plays guitar in the emo/post-hardcore band Finding Better Health, and is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Secondary Education at UNSW.
When we asked Harry why he liked working with us, he answered: "Aside from getting to work with a fun team of guitar nerds, it's fascinating to get a behind-the-scenes look at how a guitar company is run. Artist has to be one of the most well-run businesses I have ever worked for, and it's a fantastic learning experience to see what it takes to produce a quality product, as well as the logistics that support it"
