Surprising for it price!

When going into the market for a spring loaded microphone boom I was under the impression i would have to pay upwards of $100 for smooth silent action. But sure enough this thing glides through the air with a Blue Snowball on the end nice and quietly. Cant say I would but a second, because i already did. But i would defiantly buy another should the need arise.

Fzone NB35 Microphone Boom Arm

By: Derek on 15 March 2019
Hi Artist Guitars. Just wanted to say I am very happy with the product sent. For the price it suits the need. The only concern is the clamp arrangement for the boom arm. Could be made a bit sturdier. I have had to use some teflon tape to wrap around the tubular end mounting piece of the boom arm that slots into the clamp. Thats because it is a little to small and so has some flop or movement. This filled the gap and still allowed for axial movement inside the clamp tube mount. So, unfortunate that a small modification had to be made to what is a very good product for the price.

For the price, this is a fantastic microphone arm stand. Sturdy & holds up my AT2020 (on the heavy side) microphone at a good angle ok. Thanks Artist Guitars for the prompt delivery too!

Great for the price, but a few minor problems.

By: Joskun Arnold on 29 September 2017
I purchased this mic stand for my blue snowball and it works beautifully The arm itself is strong and is easy to adjust and will stay where you put it. The biggest problem I have it that the clamp is fastened to the arm in a way that makes it hard to rotate the arm. Also, the screw clamp that fastens the arm to the stand can be a bit unstable unless you tighten it a lot. The real gripe when setting up the arm is the default thread that the microphone holder comes with, which most people will not use. To access the bigger thread size you must unscrew the base of the mic holder and use it as an adapter, which it does not specify anywhere in the instructions (there are no instructions except on the box for setup). Apart from those things, this is a great, quality mic boom arm for anyone looking for something inexpensive to hold their mic with. It has great range and the clamp is large enough and strong enough to fit over most surfaces and hold the arm there securely. There are also 3 points of adjustment on the arm. 1 near the base, 1 in the center and 1 for the mic itself (if you want to mount it upside-down or sideways. This adjustment is not the most secure and will not hold heavier mics in place sideways. All around, I love this stand for the price, but some aspects could be improved (such as the instruction manual). 8.5/10
