Factory 2nd Artist CB4 Full Size 39 Inch Classical Nylon String Guitar
About Artist Guitars Factory Seconds
This is a factory second product which means it didn't pass our Quality Control test. It could be due to minor scratches, small marks, a slight discolouration of the wood, the paint could be a different colour or some other minor cosmetic issues. Each guitar will usually only have one of these issues. They play and function perfectly and sound the same as the guitars that passed quality control. Unfortunately, we can't show pictures of individual guitars.
We have a very strict Quality Control and if the guitars were damaged significantly or the sound of the guitar was changed they would not have become a factory second (we have 3 different grades for damaged products depending on how damaged an item is). This is a great buy and just like all of our products it also comes with 100-days free returns and a full 3-year warranty.
Artist CB4 Full Size 39 Inch Classical Nylon String Guitar - Natural

We are proud to offer you a series of online lessons designed specifically for beginning guitar students. This series of lessons was designed inhouse, to give you the best start to your musical career. This is what this lesson pack is all about - the stuff that nobody really tells you at the start of your guitar playing journey. Issues like holding the guitar, using a plectrum and some simple exercises to start you off.
So whether you're 7 or 70, take some time to check out the lesson pack and most importantly - be patient and have fun! Note that you would need to be logged into your Artist Guitar's account and you would have to subscribe to our Newsletter first to receive the link to the lesson program. You can UNSUBSCRIBE as soon as you get the link.
Here are the reasons why:
We use quality Eco-Rosewood Fingerboard and Bridge. Most guitars of this price range use low-grade maple for the neck and paint it black to make it look like eco-rosewood. Eventually, this will wear down and the black colour will fade away. If you look closely at our CL34 you should be able to see the grain - the eco-rosewood looks brown, not black
It has a Practical String Action (all our guitars are set-up at the factory for optimum beginner playing level). String action is the measurement from the top of the 12th fret to the bottom of the string. This is very important because a guitar with a high action is hard to play, a guitar with too low an action will buzz and sound bad. Artist Guitars are set up at the factory for the optimum level for a beginner.
A Truss Rod that allows you to correct for the effects of weather on the guitar help keep the neck straight and the action height the neck can be adjusted. You will struggle to find a guitar at this low price with a truss rod.

Factory 2nd. Full size CB4 Nylon String guitar.By: Dan Rubenstein on 20 July 2021Very happy with my purchase of the factory 2nd. CB 4 nylon string . Have been playing ,teaching & performing for many years & have finally got the time to teach myself some classical pieces . Didn't want to spend much on a nylon string in case I just wanted to go back to blues on my steel string guitars . Have worked a bit in music stores so wasn't expecting much for $85 but was very pleasantly surprised with the playability, sound & build quality. Service was excellent with the guitar arriving in 3 days . Cheers and thanks.
By: Artist GuitarsThank you for your order with us and for all your support. Cheers.
Excellent budget classical guitarBy: Dejan on 16 February 2021This is an amazing guitar for the price. Excellent tone, precise intonation, beautiful finish, great playability. This was a factory second but the blemish was trivial. See my review on YouTube here: https://youtu.be/5YIiqT5wPBM
By: Artist GuitarsThank you so much for taking the time to do a video review. We really appreciate it. I hope your father-in-law likes it.
Excellent student guitarBy: Dan Djurdjevic on 12 February 2021Beautiful tone, excellent intonation, quality construction. I got a factory second and the defect was a minor cosmetic flaw: the cut of the end of the neck was a little rough. Nothing to write home about. Very pleased and impressed that anyone could produce such an effective guitar at this price point. Whether you’re a beginner or just on a budget, this is a proper musical instrument that is worth more than you’re paying for here.
BeautifulBy: David on 14 December 2018This guitar is a Factory Second BUT I can't find anything wrong with it at all. She plays beautifully and looks superb. If this is called a Factory Second then it speaks volumes for Artist Guitars quality control and for the quality of the Factory Firsts. :)
