Just what I was hoping...

By: on 20 June 2025
I've been using a Fender Rumble 200 for the past 5 years and I wanted a change of bass amp. I decided to take a gamble on the BAH400 400 Watt to run with my 115 and 210 Fender cabs. I couldn't find any reviews or info regarding the amp which is why I considered the purchase a gamble. The price is more than reasonable and, if I wanted to, I can easily afford one of the top priced options. I also took Artist's return policy into consideration before purchasing, thinking that I could return it if I didn't like it.... But that won't be happening because this amp is a beauty. It puts my Rumble (a great amp) in the shade with its big, tight and punchy sound. It was easy to dial-in a great clean sound with plenty of juice in reserve. I haven't gigged with it yet but I can't see why there would be any problems. I like the idea that I could leave the cabs at home and just take the BAH 400 with me and use the DI straight into the PA (but I love my cabs so I can't see that happening). All in all, I'm very happy with the BAH400 and I'd recommend it to anyone: And, if you're on a budget then you won't be disappointed.
