Artist APG34 Black 3/4 Size Bass Guitar w/ Accessories
If you have a little one who seems to show that he or she is a reincarnated rock legend of times past then this is the bass guitar to start them on the path to rock glory. The APG34 Electric Bass is the ideal introduction for beginners, younger players, or anyone ready to rock with a smaller, lighter instrument that still produces serious sound. With a black poplar body and basswood veneer, this bass is designed to turn heads – and with its solid body construction, it’s built to last through every jam session.
Its one-piece maple neck is smooth and fast, with a bolt-on neck joint for extra stability as you play. The 30" scale length is shorter, making it super comfortable for beginners or anyone who wants a bass that’s easy to handle. Add in the eco-rosewood fretboard with jumbo frets, and you’ve got a bass that’s ready to bring out your best sound.
The chrome hardware and open-geared clover-style machine heads keep you in tune through every riff, and at just 2.7–3.3kg, the APG34 is light enough to carry everywhere but still gives you all the punch and power you need.
We’ve also included everything you need to get started – a bag, instrument cable, picks, strap, and a TN75 tuner, so you can tune up and hit the stage in no time.

We ship all orders for free. All deliveries are insured so if an item arrives damaged we'll happily refund or replace it for you. Check our warranty page for more information.
Purchases with Artist Guitars come with a 3-year Warranty. Warranty is only valid to the original purchaser and in the original country of purchase. Please take note of your order number to help us verify your purchase in the event of a warranty claim.
If the issue can be fixed by replacing a part, we will send it to you free of charge. Spare parts are shipped from our office in Sydney, Australia. If more extensive work is required our Customer Happiness department will arrange a free return slip or courier collection to get your item returned for further assessment.
Also included in your warranty is our industry leading 100 Days Change of Mind Policy
If you're not completely satisfied with the quality of any of our products, we'll be happy to arrange a free return of your product for an exchange or full refund, including any shipping charges. This also covers instances where you may have bought the wrong size or if you simply change your mind.
If you do require a return, just Open a Support Ticket and we'll either send you a reply paid label for Australia Post or arrange for a collection by courier. This will depend on your location and the product you purchased. If you have any trouble you can contact us.

Thanks very much artist Guitars for an impressively finished product. I bought this to donate to my local primary school, and expected to have to do a lot of work to make it playable. However the fretboard edges were rounded, there were no high frets, truss rod needed no adjustment, and there were no sharp fret ends. All I had to do was to cut the nut lower, and set the saddle heights and intonation. Compared to the amount of fixing I had to do on a Squier strat I bought for my son, Artist wins hands down for finish. Sounds good, plays well. Perfect for a young player. It's a big fat neck, a Jazz style would be welcome too.

Great student beginner kit
We have the obligatory teenage boy wanting to learn bass guitar. School offered to hire one and also looked at shops for beginner kits but all were $$$$. Came across Artist guitars and the start up kits. The kit included everything we need for a beginner and although I’m no expert in bass guitars the quality of the make is very good and sound is well rounded and clear. I love this little guy!
Just a follow up having had my MiniB Black 3/4 Size Bass for a few weeks now Can't fault it! Would by it again in a heartbeat! I'm new to Bass, being the embarrassed owner of 27 guitars ( 2 of them Artist guitars) and this little bloke is so user friendly! Just love the smaller size and playability Just the tinies adjustment to the intonation, otherwise perfect out of the box. Action fine and so is the tone. Artist just keeps delivering very good quality guitars at a very reasonable price. Their aftersales service is great and they're always helpful and that means you can buy from them with confidence.....no I'm not on commission from them ;) Highly recommend this for any bass guitar newbie and anyone who wants playability from a bass guitar. Nice size & sound
I have been reading that people are buying this size bass guitar for their child or grand child. I’m an adult & learning to play bass for my church. I think it’s a great size for beginners & I certainly like the smallness & nice bass sound. It’s easy to adjust so any buzz sound of string touching the frets can be eliminated. I’ll be using this for a bit & might graduate to a full size bass later… from Artist guitars, of course!

Small but fierce!
I purchaded this 3/4 bass for my 8 year old son who needed a bass for music lessons with the school band. The music school and local guitar store were recommending instruments priced between $400 $700. They were probably good instruments but I think are overpriced for a young beginner.'s first instrument. Having good experiences purchasing guitars and accessories from Artist over the years I figured that this bass would be a more reasonable alternative. I purchased the bass online but elected to lick up the instrument direct from the warehouse. I was able to book a time to visit the showroom and try out their demo model. More than happy with the quality of the instrument and accessories. The price difference between this bass and the other basses I looked at will offset the cost of my sons lessons and allow us to purchase more gear or accessories for him if necessary. My son finds the bass comfortable to hold. This bass compares well to a squier P bass I used play when I was a teenager. I would recommend this bass to a beginner or perhaps someone looking for a full tone short scale light weight bass to muck around with. I also recommend checking out the showroom at the warehouses if you have concerns about the quality.
