Joyo R18 Revolution Series ChopperZ Modern High Gain Guitar Effects Pedal
The R18 ChopperZ by Joyo offers modern, high-gain amp simulation with various built-in options and additional features.
With the 3-band EQ, Gain and Volume controls, anyone can dial in a tight, compressed high-gain tone with ease, plus the inbuilt Noise Gate control allows you ultimate control over your signal. The R18 also features an additional FAT BOOST switch, which boosts the signal and adds a touch of extra compression to let your lead lines soar!
This switchblade amp-sim pedal is perfect for use in the studio, on stage, or for home practice, and features switchable output modes to suit any rig:
Preamp Mode is designed to run like a normal distortion pedal, into other pedals or the front end of your amplifier. This provides great distorted tones and will play with other pedals very well.
Power Amp Mode should be sent direct to a power amp or an amplifier FX-return. This uses your R18 as a preamp and provides awesome clarity in the distortion and clipping, and allows the power amp to be pushed further in order to get those modern, compressed tones.
Finally, the Cab Sim Mode allows you to run direct into your interface, FR speaker or front of house PA. This adds a 412 cab sim to the signal, making this an amazingly versatile tool. Just this pedal and a guitar could be your entire rig if you’re looking for modern metal tones!
Like all the Revolution series by Joyo, the ChopperZ is built into a stamped metal enclosure, robust enough for any gig, with switchable LED (synch/off/on). It uses a standard 9V centre negative power supply, and does not have a 9V battery compartment.

Purchases with Artist Guitars come with a 3-year Warranty. Warranty is only valid to the original purchaser and in the original country of purchase. Please take note of your order number to help us verify your purchase in the event of a warranty claim.
If the issue can be fixed by replacing a part, we will send it to you free of charge. Spare parts are shipped from our office in Sydney, Australia. If more extensive work is required our Customer Happiness department will arrange a free return slip or courier collection to get your item returned for further assessment.

If you're not completely satisfied with the quality of any of our products, we'll be happy to arrange a free return of your product for an exchange or full refund, including any shipping charges. This also covers instances where you may have bought the wrong size or if you simply change your mind.
