Artist BullBucker Humbucker Pickup Neck - Black

Classic moderate output humbucker based on the popular Jazz model. Especially popular in the neck position. Great for jazz, and also country, blues, funk, classic rock and heavy rock. Provides an articulate and clear tone. Great for fast runs. The brighter tone has slightly less output and is a good match with most bridge pickups. When distorted, the tone is full and bright. Smooth sustain.

Works especially well with mahogany bodies and rosewood fingerboards. Also works great with hollow and semi-hollow body guitars.

All Artist Bullbucker humbuckers with four-conductor hookup wires incorporate a standard wire colour code. They are Split Coil Humbuckers which allows the humbucker to effectively become a single coil and wax potted pickups.

North start: Black wire

North finish: White wire

South start: Yellow wire

South finish: Red wire

For standard series humbucking operation on a 4-Conductor wired humbucker the White & Red wires are soldered together and taped; Black is ground and Yellow is Hot Output.

Hi I purchased a set of Black Artist Bullbucker pickups. I installed them in my Epiphone Les Paul and I as they have screw wind out posts I set the guitar up with 2mm between the poles and the strings fretted at the last fret and away she goes, it is almost as if the pups are active they are very strong and done everything from clean, overdriven to Distortion. I mainly play clean with a tad of overdrive, they sound great. Cheers Michael.
