About Artist Guitars Factory Seconds

This is a factory second product which means it didn't pass our Quality Control test. It could be due to minor scratches, small marks, a slight discolouration of the wood, the paint could be a different colour or some other minor cosmetic issues. Each guitar will usually only have one of these issues. They play and function perfectly and sound the same as the guitars that passed quality control. Unfortunately, we can't show pictures of individual guitars.

We have a very strict Quality Control and if the guitars were damaged significantly or the sound of the guitar was changed they would not have become a factory second (we have 3 different grades for damaged products depending on how damaged an item is). This is a great buy and just like all of our products it also comes with 100-days free returns and a full 3-year warranty.

Artist LSPSCEQ Small Body Acoustic Electric Guitar Beginner Pack

This acoustic-electric guitar pack contains all the essential accessories needed to get started, featuring an integrated pickup system and built-in tuner.

The Artist LSPSCEQ is a full scale steel-string acoustic-electric guitar designed with a slimmed-down, small body profile. While it maintains a standard playing length, the lower bout of the instrument is noticeably more compact than a traditional dreadnought, making it the perfect choice for smaller-framed players or teens who want a full-sized feel without the bulk.

Balanced Acoustic Tone & Stage-Ready Versatility

By utilizing a smaller body shape, the LSPSCEQ delivers a focused, punchy acoustic tone with excellent mid-range clarity. The body features an elegant cutaway design, giving you easy, uninhibited access to the higher frets on the fingerboard. For ultimate flexibility, it comes equipped with a built-in pickup system and an integrated equalizer, allowing you to plug directly into a guitar amplifier, PA system, or recording interface for high-quality amplified sound.

Tailored Comfort & Optimized Action

Designed primarily for comfort, the thinner body design allows the instrument to rest closer to you, reducing arm strain during long practice sessions. To ensure a smooth learning process and minimize finger fatigue, the LSPSCEQ is set up at the factory with low string action, making chords significantly easier to press down without causing fret buzz. It also features a built-in adjustable truss rod to counteract the shifting effects of weather, alongside premium die-cast machine heads that turn smoothly to deliver rock-solid tuning stability.

Accessories Included!

  • Artist LSPSCEQ Small Body Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar
  • Integrated Pickup/Preamp with Built-in Digital Tuner
  • Gig Bag with Backpack Straps
  • Guitar Strap
  • Spare Set of Strings
  • 2 Guitar Picks

Recommended Age & Height: 10+, 150cm+

This small-body, full-scale acoustic-electric guitar package is recommended for players aged 10+ who are over 150cm tall. If you need something for a younger or shorter child, explore our 3/4 Size Acoustic Guitar range.

These recommendations are guidelines designed to ensure a comfortable fit, rather than strict rules. Because physical build and ability vary, a younger player with a longer reach or advanced technique may easily handle an instrument outside their recommended age bracket.

    Lovely little guitar

I'm planning on travelling overseas next year and I wanted a guitar that I was willing to take on an aeroplane. I'd had my eye on the LSPSCEQ for a while, and when a factory second version came during the July sale, I jumped at the chance. As far as I can tell, the only blemishes on it are some marks on the edges of the headstock and a couple of darker spots on the fretboard. There's nothing structurally wrong with the guitar at all, and I think the marks give it a nice bit of character. The guitar is lovely to play, especially after I put a set of D'Addario EXP16s on it. The neck is a little thicker than I'm used to, but it didn't take me long to get used to it. It has a nice tone for a laminated top, and sounds really good either acoustically, or plugged in. Here's a video of me playing some Hawaiian Slack Key on it: https://youtu.be/pHIzIpUMmLU
