The JF23 Argos is a powerful utility for high-gain distortion, with impressive and versatile controls to suit any modern metal musician.
Joyo have analysed several classic drive tones to create a dynamic and responsive high-gain overdrive. The Attack control knob changes the drive characteristics, allowing you to shape your tone to suit your rig! Every amp reacts differently to overdrive, so this makes for a very flexible range of drive tones to suit any amplifier! You can colour your sound further and control the gain structure via the Tone, Level, and Gain knobs.
The JF23 is tuned to suit high-gain amps already on the edge of breakup or pushing into distortion territories, and can help refine the character of any amp to craft a tight, aggressive, modern drive sound. Ideal for Djent and modern metal tones, the Joyo Argos is the perfect pedal to fine-tune a raucous, feedback-heavy amp tone into much more usable, contemporary metal tones.
The JF23 features an inbuilt Noise Gate to tame the hissy fizz typical of drive pedals, allowing you to craft an articulate and sharp drive that won’t feedback or buzz during your stops and between chugs, plus it is perfect for saving space on a crowded pedal board! Using the Gate control will also attenuate the low-end frequencies, so you can blend in a thicker sound and additional depth, or keep things tight, modern, and crunchy.

Purchases with Artist Guitars come with a 3-year Warranty. Warranty is only valid to the original purchaser and in the original country of purchase. Please take note of your order number to help us verify your purchase in the event of a warranty claim.
If the issue can be fixed by replacing a part, we will send it to you free of charge. Spare parts are shipped from our office in Sydney, Australia. If more extensive work is required our Customer Happiness department will arrange a free return slip or courier collection to get your item returned for further assessment.

If you're not completely satisfied with the quality of any of our products, we'll be happy to arrange a free return of your product for an exchange or full refund, including any shipping charges. This also covers instances where you may have bought the wrong size or if you simply change your mind.
