Always wanted to learn guitar?  If you want to cut through all the brain-drain stuff and get to the PLAYING bit, I can help you out with a simple creative approach, I tailor lessons to what YOU need.

Suitable for beginners and intermediate - acoustic or electric, I can help you co-ordinate your left and right hand skills and fine-tune your ear, learn covers etc.  My aim is to empower you to play long after your lessons end.

If you can’t quite finish those half-done songs we can work on streamlining your song-writing techniques, sharpen up your originals, find some new grooves, look at whole-song structure, experiment with different styles and alternate tunings, or enhance your singing or backing vocals.

I've been teaching one-on-one for about 10 years. Guitar is my life-long passion, the ultimate exploration!  I’ve been playing for almost 40 years, have done lots of performing.  Whether you want to play for your own enjoyment, or if you want to get serious about performing or recording, if you have PASSION for music, you can find the journey inspiring and rewarding!!

Lessons held at Redfern, $40 per hour, afternoon sessions only.  Chord charts supplied.

*I can also advise with buying a guitar.
