About These Strings
D'Addario EJ Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings offer a warm, well balanced acoustic tone, with bright intonation and a "fret-friendly" round wound feel that made them D'Addario's most popular acoustic guitar strings. D'Addario received worldwide acclaim in 1974 for introducing Phosphor Bronze to string making, giving their strings such superb, long-lasting tone.
For even longer lasting tone, try D'Addario EXP Coated Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings.
All D'Addario strings are precisely wound around a hexagonally shaped high-carbon-steel core wire by computer-controlled machines guaranteeing clear intonation, rock-solid fundamentals, and incomparable consistency in every string. The tight core tension produced through this rigorous quality-controlled process results in a harmonically rich, longer-lasting string. Anti-Rust 80/20 Nanoweb Coated Acoustic Guitar Strings. These strings provide the sound of traditional strings, but with a Nanoweb coating so thin you can barely tell it's there!

Super string theoryAfter many years of experimenting with different strings on my acoustic guitars I keep coming back to D'Addario's Custom Lights. They combine great tone and playability and last as well as any others. Such a bonus to be able to get them at this good price from Artist Guitars. Go guys, you are doing a great job supporting us penurious musos.
D'Addario EJ26 Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar 11-Love these strings and their bright sound. Also love the awesome quick delivery!
If it ain't broke...These strings were on a EJ200CE I bought and took directly to it's 1st gig from the showroom. They were a big deciding factor in my buying the guitar. They were played in and sounding terrific after 2 songs! Used in a duo with drums, they had to handle flat-picking, fingerstyle, slide, open tuning, standard tuning, drop D tuning, capo up and down the neck and all. They handled it all with EASE. Very balanced tone through 600 watt PA (not to bassy, not too bright). After trying other 80/20's and different gauges and brands, I'm finally coming full circle to the original and the best. It's great to experiment, but..why mess with a winning combo? Once again, SUPER fast shipping on these. Guess the postman likes 'em too!
