Artist TC59L Natural Left Handed Electric Guitar w/ Bullbucker Pickups

Combining vintage styling with contemporary appointments, the TC59 is a worthy addition to the Artist Guitars range. Blending traditional craftsmanship with modern features, it offers musicians a fantastic instrument at an exceptional price point. Built with a solid American Ash body, this guitar not only has a sleek, natural gloss finish that enhances its natural grain but also provides a bright and resonant tone that makes it perfect for a wide range of genres.

With 22 medium jumbo frets made from durable 25% nickel, the guitar is designed to withstand years of play while providing precise intonation and a smooth playing surface. The bone nut enhances tuning stability and contributes to the overall tonal clarity, ensuring that the guitar remains in perfect pitch.

Sporting Artist's signature Bullbucker coil-splitting humbuckers, the range of sound possibilities that can be achieved from the TC59 whether it be jazz, blues, rock or country, is quite astounding. The Bullbuckers are a fantastic pickup in their own right and are starting to make some very positive noise among guitar players.

The modern bridge allows for each string's intonation to be adjusted separately guaranteeing that you can set your guitar up to its optimal level. To top it all off this wonderful little axe has locking machine heads that make sure restrings are easy and your tuning is never far from perfect.

Check this little beauty out! You won't be disappointed!!!

Artist TC59L Left Handed Electric Guitar w/ Bullbu

By: on 19 December 2023
What a great deal, the Artist Telecaster is a very well made good quality beginners to intermediate guitar, a real pleasure to play, setup well right out of the box. The pickups sound great also, and can coil tap them too, so from a thick full humbucker sound, to a typical tele/strat type single coil sound, clean and sparkly. The body is swamp ash, and a very nice looking grain in it, also has a nice weight to it, I totally recommend this guitar as a main player or a decent backup, you wont be sorry.

2 years later ...

By: on 6 March 2023
Two years ago I bought this guitar out of curiosity and initially I was quite happy with it.. This is my second review and I thought maybe a bit of an update was in order. Since buying my TC59 leftie I've also purchased a left handed Fender Player Telecaster as well as a left handed Squire tele. I already owned a Gibson LP (2004) as well as a Fender Player Strat. The Artist TC59 has really impressed me ... fabulous neck, great action, impressive pickups ... all in all this guitar is extremely playable. Compared to the other two Telecasters the Artist TC59L beats them both in playability and stability. Tuning/intonation is always spot on and that neck is just perfect. What a thing to say ... maybe even a bit sacrilegious? I like to use this instrument to flesh out songs and to be an all-in-one solution for two part guitar beds in my demo recordings. Sounds totally amazing through my UA Ruby straight into my DAW via a UA Apollo. A little bit of compression using an Avalon and it always sounds the way I want it to. I noticed this guitar model has dropped in price since I bought it which makes it even more insane value for money. Just a side note ... I had to replace the toggle switch as it was working intermittently when the guitar arrived new. BTW ...I prefer my Squire Tele to the Player ...brands don't mean much any more. Now ... I'm off to buy that Artist gold top!

Impressive and much lighter than expected

By: on 19 January 2023
I have been eying this off for over a year since the last sale. Decided to purchase when the latest sale offering came up. All I can say is Wow. The quality for the normal price is astonishing regardless of the sale price. It stays in tune better than my PRS custom SE and sounds fantastic. I had concerns over the neck being very different to the PRS. It is but in its own way just as comfortable to play and the satin neck finish is an improvement over the gloss on many guitars. Will definitely be keeping this one

Artist TC59L Left Handed Electric Guitar

By: on 18 January 2023
Finding good left handed electric guitars is problematic. This Artist guitar is excellent value for money and plays well straight out of the box. The locking tuners and coil tap are a bonus. Bullbucker humbuckers sound great, and the fit and finish cannot be faulted at this price point. Better than expected!

Punches above its weight

By: on 5 October 2022
And considering the recurring comments about weight, that's saying something. Overall, genuinely impressed with the quality of this guitar especially at the price point, out of the box it plays about the same as my Ibanez and Epiphone guitars which were about 3 times as much. Reasonably good tuning stability, although the gearing in the tuners feels a little clunky at times, still much better than a lot of the cheaper die cast tuners on other budget guitars. Despite the Tele shape, I would say this feels/sounds/plays more like a Les Paul than anything Fender-ish! The neck profile is comfortable and the finish on both the neck and fretboard has a nice satin feel, this does make the fretboard feel a bit more like a rosewood board than most glossy maple fretboard guitars I've played. The sustain on this thing is great, and the pickups are insanely hot, which is not usually my thing, but tuning this down to drop C really made it sing.. or growl I guess. For the price I can't really fault the guitar, would highly recommend for anyone who wants to boost their collection with a good throw-around guitar that doesn't instantly die/go out of tune the moment you play it.

Could not be happier with this purchase! Usually when something seems too good to be true it usually is, however this is the exception! This guitar plays amazing straight out of the box, have not needed to make any adjustments. The sound and feel is phenomenal I have not been able to put it down. Looking forward to growing my Artist collection! Thanks for having some great lefty options!

A vast number of reviews of this guitar almost, ALMOST, scared me from selecting this product. I am so glad I grabbed it. The weight is s constant talking point of this model, but having been a long time Les Paul owner (and having a very chunky lucite tele for years), the weight is of no issue. Another issue I initially had was the coil splitting. In the past, splitting pickups meant killing the tone of the guitar. But this wipes the floor with any guitar I've had in the past that have this feature, including a Gibson. Like Kingman said, I don't know how you've done it. The tone, in any combination is near faultless. The look, the feel, the price tag, this guitar has it all. As with the other 3 Artist guitars I own, I absolutely love this!

The TC59L Is A Great Guitar

By: on 2 October 2021
Everything about this guitar has impressed me since it arrived a few days ago. The quality of the finish is perfect and the hardware and materials used are amazing, especially in this price range. It’s got beautiful tone and sustain and the setup was great just straight out of the box. It really feels at home with my other guitars which cost me a lot more and are Big Name Brands. This is the second guitar I’ve bought from Artist Guitars since I discovered them a bit earlier this year and I already have my eye on another one. As a lefty it is extremely difficult to find a good range of guitars in stock at most stores but these guys definitely have thought about us southpaws. The other bits and pieces us guitarists need such as Capos, Stands, Leads, Strings etc that I’ve purchased have all been great value and quality also. I’m a very happy customer and not afraid to say so. The only thing I wish you might do is make a 12 string left handed acoustic as I’m sure you’d do another great job of that too.

Artist Guitars Response
Thanks so much for this great review. We are glad to know that you were impressed with the tele - good choice! I would agree that it has a good tone and sustain. Do let us know if you need help on your next purchase, we have fantastic customer service. The 12 string left-handed acoustic is a good suggestion as well. I'll let the team know.

Outstanding Guitar!

After reading and watching some reviews of the TC59 i couldn’t help myself but buy one! $200 shipped to my door. The guitar plays very very well. The setup and intonation is on point. Great hardware, crisp bullbucker pickups. The ability to split the coils is super neat too. Frets needed a polish, but other than that, I cannot fault this guitar! Amazing!

Artist Guitars Response
Thank you for a great review! We are very happy to know you liked the tele. We bet you'll love the sustain.

I’ve been playing this for over a year.

Over the last 18 months this guitar has held up very well. It stays in tune and is nice to play. It easily holds up against my Squire strat. Definitely would recommend.

Thank you so much for the support. We are stoked to hear this and would help other people know how our guitars would be.

The more I play it the more I like it

By: on 22 March 2021
I wasn't too impressed with this guitar when I first bought it. Unboxing it didn't feel special (I've bought all my previous guitars from guitar shops or from other players), the volume and tone knobs look and feel a bit cheap and the guitar is pretty damn heavy too, but I checked the intonation on it and it's perfect out of the box. The more I play it, the more I like it. It's louder acoustically than any other guitar I own. When plugged in it has longer sustain than any other guitar I own too. It also stays in tune better than any other guitar I currently own and that alone has made this guitar my current everyday go to guitar.

Great guitar, experience was perfect from selecting the guitar to dispatching to receiving the next day. Build quality is great, action/intonation spot on, great features for the price and sounds great. I wish there was a bigger selection for left handed (not much love for us in guitar world) but this product is great value. Will be buying another guitar or 2 from Artist

Wow! I've had this beautiful guitar for about a month now and I love it! Straight out of box it's amazing! A heavy guitar, but the quality, the swamp ash wood grain, the Bullbucker pickups, Split! So much fun to play.. I've named her Chelsea. :) The Team at Artist Guitars are awesome! Special mention to Holly! Thankyou. My next purchase will be upgrading my amp!

Simply cannot believe you can buy a guitar of this good quality at this price. Just go buy one! Humbuckers on a beautiful Tele that cool-splits? Yes you can! Locking tuners? Absolutely! And left hand. Go get one!

This guitar for the price is truly outstanding (especially if you're a lefty like me!). Really versatile tones, neck feels solid and chunky. Fretwork is great, neck joint is solid. Love the coil splitting that doesn't lose volume, that's pretty impressive! Only bad thing is that it needed a bit of set up when I got it (had a buzzing high E string) so be prepared to get it set up properly when it arrives or ask for some advice from Artist. Love it!
