Artist REC300RC Black Electric Guitar Hard Case With Lock and Rounded Corners
This sturdy guitar hard case will suit most electric guitars like ST, TC's and many other similar models. Its a sturdy decent quality guitar case.
Electric Guitars that will fit this case - Les Paul Junior, Strat's, Tele's, Jazzmasters and Jaguars, RG Style Ibanez, Super Strats like Jackson Soloist, Artist AG1, AG100, Artist GM1. It will also fit our Artist APB34 3/4 Bass.
Electric Guitars that will NOT fit this case- Genuine Gibson & Epiphone SG's, Flying V's, Explorers, Dean ML & ZL, BC Rich or PRS

Made from strong laminate wood and covered in a thick vinyl covering. It's plush-lined and comes with a large accessories compartment for storing all your leads, pedals, spare strings and accessories. The latches are chrome, and the centre latch has a lock.

We use Courier services to ship our goods to you as fast as possible. Once the package leaves our warehouse the time to your door depends on your location, and any reported delays in your area.
We ship all orders for free. All deliveries are insured so if an item arrives damaged we'll happily refund or replace it for you. Check our warranty page for more information.
Purchases with Artist Guitars come with a 3-year Warranty. Warranty is only valid to the original purchaser and in the original country of purchase. Please take note of your order number to help us verify your purchase in the event of a warranty claim.
If the issue can be fixed by replacing a part, we will send it to you free of charge. Spare parts are shipped from our office in Sydney, Australia. If more extensive work is required our Customer Happiness department will arrange a free return slip or courier collection to get your item returned for further assessment.
Also included in your warranty is our industry leading 100 Days Change of Mind Policy
If you're not completely satisfied with the quality of any of our products, we'll be happy to arrange a free return of your product for an exchange or full refund, including any shipping charges. This also covers instances where you may have bought the wrong size or if you simply change your mind.
If you do require a return, just Open a Support Ticket and we'll either send you a reply paid label for Australia Post or arrange for a collection by courier. This will depend on your location and the product you purchased. If you have any trouble you can contact us.

Good Value Guitar Protection
These are great at protecting your guitar. Has all the stuff you want - fluffiness inside, hard outer shell and all of the tolex is stitched as not to detach. It's a few bucks more than the Tolex REC350FTB, but I like the rounded corners on them (which makes it easier to put the case on shelves and not damage the ends). Works well and recommended if you have any type of guitar without a slanted headstock (strats, tele's etc).

I already have the tweed version of this case. Liked it so much I ordered the black version too. I placed my order and was warned about potential delays due to lockdown/parcel delivery. Must to my surprise I got the package within a matter of days (ordered on Tuesday, received on Friday, to Central Coast NSW). The case is great, it fits most of my guitars. I have some kit builds (Tele and SG from Pitbull) and it fits both of those as well as my strat. My Les Paul is a bit of a squeeze to close the lid. Very happy with the case!

GREAT CASE BUT NEEDS FINE TUNING
I bought this case from the Artist Guitars' eBay store recently and am very happy with it (particularly at < $100) except for one thing. Basically the case has more than a tendency to topple over - i.e. it will not stay upright on its hinged side at all. This gets worse when a guitar is inside. I found having to prop it up against something disappointing (hence my 4-star rating) and I imagine it should not be a difficult fix. I can't compare it with other REC300RC cases so I am unsure if this issue is limited to the one I bought or it is a problem common to its entire run. Being sort of handy, I have come up with my own solution to ensure the case does stay up going forward, but I shouldn't have to do that. May I suggest different profile hinges (which also serve as levelling aids when closed) and/or studs (and possibly better placement of either item in relation to each other) be trialled to ensure the case stays upright. I bought this case for my Squier Classic Vibe Jaguar, as it's one of the few cases around that state it fits that body shape. Lemme tell you that while it does fit, it's quite the squeeze. On the plus side, there's zero movement while carrying. Regardless, this case is the usual high quality you'd expect from Artist and I recommend it. I got this guitar case to fit a longer than average T shape guitar (Chapman ML3) which it does. It works as it should. the foam is a little lighter duty than other cases I've seen but serviceable and within expectation at this price. There was a little excess adhesive on one edge of the case which is easy enough to remove. Other than that I was very happy with the case.

Great case for the price!
I bought this case for my Onyx Phantom as it is an unusual shape and the cases that are made to fit it are exorbitant. With a little padding, the guitar fitted in the case just fine! The case is great for giging but I would think twice about using it in an aircraft as the sides have a bit of movement and the bag chuckers may cause damage. I am very happy with the case and I would give the thumbs up to it for my friends!

I remember times when most guitars came with a hard case as a matter of course, but those days are long gone, and they're now "optional extras" even with some quite expensive instruments. Bought a lower-end Strat recently, needed a case, and this Artist Guitars model does the job. Reasonably solid construction, generous-sized storage compartment internally, and comes with a locking key (although I've never seen much point in lockable cases, since the Bad Guys are just gonna pinch guitar + case anyway — still, it might stop the kids playing with your pride-and-joy!) ..... This product is very good value at the price and, as always, delivery from AG was fast, with good tracking info provided. If you have a Strat-type guitar, you can't go wrong with this one.

I think I have just about every one of Artist's hard cases for electric guitars and bass. I have Artist guitars in all of them (bar two, now) and use them specifically to put my custom made guitars in for my clients, due to the consistent quality and price of the cases. I love them as do my clients. The latest REC300RC Hard Case was the perfect fit for my old Washburn WI-64 (should anyone need a good case for one of those). I tried it in the REBC350TO case, but the REC300RC was the better fit. That body shape actually fitted nicely into both the Artist LP cases also. All in all, what ever make you have Artist has them covered. This recent case turned out to be a bonus for me. Good job again guys. Well made and well priced.

Good quality at a good price
AG describes this case as "a sturdy decent quality guitar case", and that sums it up exactly. While I wouldn't necessarily entrust it to the tender hands of airport baggage handlers (and, in fairness, it doesn't pretend to be a flight case anyway), it most certainly will keep your guitar well protected under normal conditions, to and from gigs etc. I'm using it for my Tele, and there's stacks of room left over (both in the main body of the case, and in the large storage compartment) for leads, spare strings, tuner, etc. etc. The inner lining is very plush so, it will suit you if, like me, you like to keep your gear scratch-free. There's the usual three latches for keeping it closed, and a key for locking the centre one. In short, a decent quality case that's a lot cheaper than most others I've seen ...... And just a final word about AG's delivery tracking service — they're a darn sight better than Aust Post and the courier firms in keeping you up to date on where your stuff is. I usually sign up with Aust Post or the couriers for tracking e-mails, but they rarely send them or, if they do, it's usually something you already know ("The package was delivered to your address four hours ago" — yeah, I kinda knew that!:-) By contrast, AG sends multiple e-mails – "Your goods should be delivered today" / "Your package is out for delivery now" / "They couldn't deliver it because you were out" / "Your package is at Post Office XXXXX for your to pick up" etc. etc. Just another of the many little things that Artist Guitars get right. These guys are the best in the business when it comes to "budget" guitar equipment — their website is the first place I look for any gear I'm wanting. I just wish they also stocked some of the bigger brands (e.g. Fender) so I could also buy my more expensive stuff from them!

Having placed an order for the wrong size case (and which was delivered within 24 hours), I took that case back with the guitar for which I needed the case. They were very helpful, finding the best case to fit. The REC300RC Electric Guitar Hard Case is sturdy and fits the Epiphone Les Paul Junior at half the cost of an Epiphone case. I do need to put a bit of packing at the top to ensure no movement, but that just gives me room for leads, pedals, etc. Recommended.
