Artist CHERRY58TRD Hollow Body Electric Guitar

This classic style guitar has existed in many forms since it was first released in 1958. Since then it has been coveted by some of the greatest Rock 'n Roll, Blues and Jazz guitarists that the world has ever known. Legendary names like BB King, Freddie King, John McLaughlin, Larry Carlton, Jorma Kaukonen, Eric Clapton and Elvin Bishop are among the multitude of players who have loved the diverse tones that this type of instrument offers. Now it's your turn!

The Artist Cherry58 offers a perfect entry level guitar for those wishing to begin their journey into the world of blues and Jazz. With the typical set-neck, this guitar is truly a "blues machine". Like the body, the neck is constructed of maple on an eco-friendly purpleheart fretboard. This wood is a fine substitute for rosewood which is now considered a highly endangered species and as a result is rarely if ever used in general guitar building these days. The 22 frets show off the 'Dot' shaped plastic inlays and when you add to the comfortable "C" shape neck the standard tunomatic bridge and stop-bar tailpiece, you have a guitar that will not only feel great under your fingers but one that will sustain forever.

The Cherry58 sports chrome covered Humbuckers with Alnico V magnets which means that you have the option of the warm throaty tones of the neck pickup or the biting clean sounds of the bridge pickup. When you set your toggle switch in between neck and bridge pickup you get that wonderful almost out of phase sound which confirms that this is an extremely versatile guitar that will be very responsive under your fingers. You will be able to put a stamp on all those great blues solos and wail like the greats or you could darken the tone to suit the "cool" of any dingy little jazz club.

The Cherry58 awaits. Are you ready to take it on?

Cherry 58

By: Scott Murray on 6 November 2019
Received My Cherry 58 and boy am I impressed, I have played for many years and this guitar is outstanding for the price. After a bone nut, new strings and new Kluson style tuners I now not only have a great guitar, but it looks and sounds like it's far more expensive counterpart. I got this guitar as a customer return because the switch was faulty, but as it came with a new one to be installed it was a no brainer. What can you say, the customer service at Artist is second to none I have to admit this is my 3rd guitar from artist and the workmanship and finish are superb.

Recieved my cherry58 today and wow I'm impressed It has no imperfections. The action is great and has a nice fast feel to it. tuned the strings twice and they held tune great. The tone progression up the neck is in tune all the way on each string. No buzzing strings. This is a really impressive guitar my inspiration for playing was BB king (RIP). and thought one day I'd have one however money doesn't grow on trees and haven't been able to afford one. Thanks to Artist guitars I can now have my dream guitar with out the price tag saying that $329 is alot of money in most ppls standards. However dont battle this decision you wont regret it. Thanks Artist guitars.

GET ONE! GET ONE NOW!

Straight out of the case, (and after a tune) this guitar played very well. I took off the strings, oiled the fretboard, changed the strings to my preferred brand of vintage Nickel and tweaked the truss rod a little to 'make it mine'... this is an OUTSTANDING guitar. If you're in the market for a hollow body, then get this one (with a case)! It plays (and sounds) like a guitar that is at least three times more expensive. Sure... it doesn't have "that" G word on it, but I believe it plays and sounds better than a guitar with the "E" word on the headstock (at a third of the price). Get one! Get one now!

I've owned quite a few guitars a lot more expensive than this one. It looks fantastic, good finish and quality is top rate. This guitar feels great and almost effortless to play. I took a gamble as I had never heard of Artist Guitars and not to only was I pleasently surprised I can honestly say that this guitar is the best guitar I've ever played and is now my 'go to ' axe of choice. I can't wait to see get my hands on another!

Cherry 58 TRD guitar

By: Matthew Soden on 14 August 2019
Artist never fails to surprise me with the quality and value of their products. This semi acoustic guitar is beautifully constructed, neck through body, immaculate binding, great finish, and ,most importantly, fine sound and playability.Artist has redefined what the musician can expect for his/her money.Honestly,at first I was slightly dubious at the low prices. Now ,I have concluded, we ,in the past were paying way too much. This is a good business, responsive to customers and giving us high quality, affordable products.Thank You!
