Artist CHERRY58TRD Hollow Body Electric Guitar

This classic style guitar has existed in many forms since it was first released in 1958. Since then it has been coveted by some of the greatest Rock 'n Roll, Blues and Jazz guitarists that the world has ever known. Legendary names like BB King, Freddie King, John McLaughlin, Larry Carlton, Jorma Kaukonen, Eric Clapton and Elvin Bishop are among the multitude of players who have loved the diverse tones that this type of instrument offers. Now it's your turn!

The Artist Cherry58 offers a perfect entry level guitar for those wishing to begin their journey into the world of blues and Jazz. With the typical set-neck, this guitar is truly a "blues machine". Like the body, the neck is constructed of maple on an eco-friendly purpleheart fretboard. This wood is a fine substitute for rosewood which is now considered a highly endangered species and as a result is rarely if ever used in general guitar building these days. The 22 frets show off the 'Dot' shaped plastic inlays and when you add to the comfortable "C" shape neck the standard tunomatic bridge and stop-bar tailpiece, you have a guitar that will not only feel great under your fingers but one that will sustain forever.

The Cherry58 sports chrome covered Humbuckers with Alnico V magnets which means that you have the option of the warm throaty tones of the neck pickup or the biting clean sounds of the bridge pickup. When you set your toggle switch in between neck and bridge pickup you get that wonderful almost out of phase sound which confirms that this is an extremely versatile guitar that will be very responsive under your fingers. You will be able to put a stamp on all those great blues solos and wail like the greats or you could darken the tone to suit the "cool" of any dingy little jazz club.

The Cherry58 awaits. Are you ready to take it on?

I've owned quite a few guitars a lot more expensive than this one. It looks fantastic, good finish and quality is top rate. This guitar feels great and almost effortless to play. I took a gamble as I had never heard of Artist Guitars and not to only was I pleasently surprised I can honestly say that this guitar is the best guitar I've ever played and is now my 'go to ' axe of choice. I can't wait to see get my hands on another!

By: Matthew Soden on 14 August 2019
Artist never fails to surprise me with the quality and value of their products. This semi acoustic guitar is beautifully constructed, neck through body, immaculate binding, great finish, and ,most importantly, fine sound and playability.Artist has redefined what the musician can expect for his/her money.Honestly,at first I was slightly dubious at the low prices. Now ,I have concluded, we ,in the past were paying way too much. This is a good business, responsive to customers and giving us high quality, affordable products.Thank You!

cherry58

By: geoffrey wilkinson on 31 July 2019
Being a beginner without a large budget I decided to try a Cherry58. Very happy with sound and action. The finish is very good and it's nice and solid but the switch feels a little loose and one of the knobs is higher than the others but for the price I'm very happy. Would like to know the string gauge though.

For the price, great guitar

By: Jack P on 7 May 2019
The Cherry 58 is a great value for price. I purchased it back in November and when it came it, it needed a set up which I haven't completed but I play it quite a lot at home. My go to electric guitar. The neck was straight and I found it very comfortable to play. I like the pickups gives it that old rock n roll sound.. If you're wondering whether to get it my suggestion is get it. It is worth it.

Sweet Cherry

By: Bryan on 27 March 2019
Very happy with the Cherry58. It played ok out of the box, but was improved by a bit of setting up. I made minor adjustments to the truss rod, action (bridge height), pickup height and intonation. All the info you need is online. And I polished the frets and replaced the strings. It deserves better tuners. Still, awesome value. My only gripe is the packaging was pathetic.
