Introducing the Artist AJB5, a modern 5-string bass designed for players who want extended range, powerful tone, and dependable performance in a lightweight, stage-ready instrument. Built with a lightweight paulownia body finished in lava orange matte nitrocellulose, a quarter-sawn roasted Canadian maple neck, and a smooth rosewood fretboard, the AJB5 combines classic feel with modern flexibility.
The ultra-thin satin nitro neck finish and lightweight machine heads help keep the instrument balanced and resonant, while the chrome-plated bridge provides excellent sustain, tuning stability, and tight low-end response. Premium appointments, including a 45mm bone nut, hand-finished stainless steel frets, luminous side dots, copper foil shielding, and locking strap buttons, give the AJB5 a refined feel built for regular gigging and studio work alike.
