Built in the classic Dreadnought body shape, the AB1 delivers a full, rich, and robust acoustic tone with plenty of natural projection. It comes equipped with high-quality steel strings, giving you the bright, authentic acoustic ring heard on countless rock, pop, folk, and country records. To ensure long-lasting reliability and performance, the guitar features premium die-cast machine heads that turn smoothly, make tuning simple, and keep your instrument stable and in tune for longer.
Optimized Beginner Playability
To make learning chords as painless as possible, the AB1 is set up at the factory with a low string action. This is carefully calibrated to be incredibly easy for new fingers to press down without causing fret buzz. It also features a built-in adjustable truss rod, which is an essential feature that allows you to counteract the natural effects of weather and humidity shifts, ensuring your guitar neck stays perfectly straight and plays beautifully for years to come.

Purchases with Artist Guitars come with a 3-year Warranty. Warranty is only valid to the original purchaser and in the original country of purchase. Please take note of your order number to help us verify your purchase in the event of a warranty claim.
If the issue can be fixed by replacing a part, we will send it to you free of charge. Spare parts are shipped from our office in Sydney, Australia. If more extensive work is required our Customer Happiness department will arrange a free return slip or courier collection to get your item returned for further assessment.
Also included in your warranty is our industry leading 100 Days Change of Mind Policy
If you're not completely satisfied with the quality of any of our products, we'll be happy to arrange a free return of your product for an exchange or full refund, including any shipping charges. This also covers instances where you may have bought the wrong size or if you simply change your mind.
If you do require a return, just Open a Support Ticket and we'll either send you a reply paid label for Australia Post or arrange for a collection by courier. This will depend on your location and the product you purchased. If you have any trouble you can contact us.

I bought this for my little brother to start learning. I found myself playing it out of the box more than he has lol. It’s a really good sounding guitar, and super smooth. The finish on this thing is incredible. Absolutely love the sound and for the price, this is much better than a similar guitar for the same price at Kmart of Bunnings. This guitar sounds like a $650 guitar. Great work team, I’ll definitely be looking at something more advanced for myself now.

My son has been learning on a classical Yamaha for some time and making good progress, but since we got this little beauty, he has barely put it down, the neck size and setup made him smile ear to ear instantaneously . Great guitar for the money. Quality and sound was better than I had expected and is very easy to play and tune. Service and delivery was tops. Only negative I have is that straight out of the box ,the strings were very dirty and stained. Someone didn't do their job. But hey these things happen and a new set of strings will solve that.

Good Choice
As beginner player, but not unfamiliar with acoustics, I found this instrument quite good for $119. I don't bother too much with warranties on cheap equipment so long as they are fully functional. I improved the tone and brightness by replacing the plastic nut, bridge saddle and bridge pins with bone items - the original setup produced quite a good output but with a change of strings to quality items and the bone replacement items, the effect is quite outstanding. A very good finish to the instrument and the action, setup and quality is quite good for the price range. For an extra outlay of $120 (plus 45 minutes of my time) this instrument changed from "very good" to "wow". K&K Pure Mini's are next to be fitted for some Amplified Punch.

AB41 Acoustic - Perfect Beginner Guitar
I wanted a guitar that I was happy to keep in our lounge room so I could do some mindless practice while watching TV. As we have young children I wasn't willing to put my Maton in there in case it was knocked over and damaged. So I decided to get something cheap and nasty so I wouldn't be too worried if it was knocked around. I wasn't expecting much and was just hoping for something barely playable. Very happy with what turned up! This little ripper exceeded all of my expectations. It stays in tune, the action is fantastic and it's a joy to play. I wish I'd had a guitar of this quality when I first started learning. I would gladly recommend this to anyone starting out... this may be the perfect beginner guitar. Keep up the great work Artist Guitars, if this is the standard of your cheapest guitars I can't wait to try something higher up on the price scale.... I'll be back.

This is a great sounding affordable guitar. Build quality is good. Sound is good. I bought this because I'm scared of taking my $3000 cole clark outside the house. Now I have this guitar I've been taking it everywhere outdoors and to the beach. It seems durable and its very easy to play with a great action for beginners but will suit players of all abilities. My fingers are sore from playing it and for 109 bucks and free post I can't think of anything else that comes close at this price point. If you are thinking about buying one just do it. You won't be stuck with a piece of junk you can't use. This is a very decent instrument at a very good price. 5 stars.

First off, how much do you expect from a cheap guitar? Poor build quality? Horrible feel when you play? It's about right on most. But not this one. The AB1 has a solid construction, amazing feel to play, the sound that comes out is very country, little bit of twang. But sounds amazing. The diecast tuning pegs make for near perfect tuning every time you pick it up and the overall look of the guitar is amazing. This is something I'd expect out of a $300+ guitar. Worth every penny for a veteran or a beginner Mine has now been modified with a pre amp and that performs amazingly and for well into the body. Done well Artist guitars!

This is a great guitar for the price. Build quality is high, finish is perfect and it arrived well set up with a nice low action. It's very playable, and has a really lovely tone. Not sure what strings come standard with this guitar, but I'm also looking forward to putting some really good strings on to see exactly how great it can sound. Great budget guitar with great customer service
I bought the Artist AB1 guitar as a muck around sort of acoustic to play on, I primarily play electric. First thing I noticed when I started playing the guitar was how good the action felt, expected for a beginner level guitar but unexpected on something of this price point. The sound was also noticeably good for a budget guitar, perhaps not outstanding but not as bad as similarly priced guitars. I enjoyed playing this guitar for about 5 months before the guitar slipped slightly from a low height and the head of the guitar bumped the coffee table holding it up. To my own surprise, the head had actually been completed detached from the neck. The guitar was in two. This was greatly upsetting given how highly I regarded this guitar. As a result, I contacted Artist to which they promptly responded and offered to replace it. The customer service was fantastic and I could not have been happier to still be able to play one of these guitars. Had it not been replaced, I would have probably bought another one anyway given the value for money for this guitar. I cannot speak more highly about how great the service was and how fantastic the product is. I would definitely recommend the Artist AB1 to beginner or budget guitarist and even those looking for something to muck around with.

The delivery arrived early within 3 days and I opened the package first to see what I'd actually received. My first thoughts were this is a good looking guitar. I have ordered AB1 guitar online with WC450 case and it arrived in 2 days - fast delivery!! When I tried it, AB1 felt and sounded great. But WC450 case would get stretched out a bit when I put AB1 into it (very tight fit) and aluminum edge around the case's lid would come into contact with the guitar's body whenever I tried to close the case. So I've raised a dispute online, arranged a return and got a full refund at no cost with no question asked - just as it said on the website. Then I ordered a new DC300 case for my guitar which was a perfect fit!! Fabulous!! Very honest people with professional mind. Great customer support and flawless product. Would definitely buy from them again!! Thank you.
