Artist Cherry58TRM Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar w/ Tremolo

Based on our popular Cherry58 model, the Artist CHERRY58TRM was developed as a direct result of feedback from our customers looking for something with a little more versatility than Cherry58.

While retaining many of the features of the more traditional Cherry58 the Artist CHERRY58TRM differs with the addition of the roller vibrato. This roller-trem style vibrato was popular in rockabilly from its earliest days and now has gained widespread popularity across many styles of music both on stage and in the recording studio.

With the typical set-neck that typifies most guitars of this style, this is a great instrument for anybody looking for something unique in their sound. Like the body, the neck is constructed of maple with an Ebony fretboard. The 22 frets show off the 'Block' shaped inlays on the comfortable "C" shape neck, and the roller-bridge with the roller-trem vibrato system makes this a real player's instrument.

The Artist CHERRY58TRM Signature Bullbucker individual Coil Splitting pickups which means that you have the option of the warm throaty tones of the neck pickup or the biting clean sounds of the bridge pickup. When you set your toggle switch in between neck and bridge pickup you get that wonderful almost out-of-phase sound, and the push/pull coil-splitting on both pickups is an extremely useful and versatile addition offering single-coil or humbucker configurations. You will be able to put a stamp on all those great blues solos and wail like the greats or you could darken the tone to suit the "cool" of any dingy little jazz club.

Semi Hollow Cherry 58

By: on 23 December 2022
I got this guitar as a kind of experiment. I thought it was very unlikely that a quality guitar could ever be delivered for such a low price but the video reviews suggested otherwise. I have to say that this 335 inspired semi is well above ordinary. I’d place it in the same ballpark as much more expensive Epiphone Dots and Casino’s. Switchable pickups, locking tuners, a Bigsby style Trem, you don’t get these features on cheap guitars, the Cherry 58TRM is a great guitar, it’s a steal. If you’re just starting or you’re a serious player who wants a good semi you should buy one of these. For this price, buy two!

CH58TRM is a the best value

I recently got my CH58TRM and cannot speak highly enough about it. I'm quite puzzled at how Artist can get us a guitar of this quality for the price to quite honest. The entire set up was playable as soon as I took it out of the case and all the parts that make up the guitar are great quality. My last purchase of the TL69BND had some scratchy frets and I was bracing myself for the same on this one as well but that was not an issue this time. I'm so happy as I've always wanted an es335 style guitar and I really am over the moon with this guitar. I've done a short review here if you need any more convincing.
