Artist SKYLER Paisley Aged Electric Guitar w/ Hand-Made Pickups

The latest in our higher-end offerings for the New Year, the Skyler is a handcrafted, dual-humbucking riff machine with the specs to match! Featuring a gorgeous quarter-sawn roasted maple neck topped with a dark slab of genuine rosewood, a bone nut, and high-grade locking tuners, the Skyler is both functionally and aesthetically elegant. With an aged nitrocellulose surf green finish over classic pink paisley, this particular Skyler is sure to turn heads. Having tested untold amounts of pickup options, we settled on a pair of high-end, hand-made humbuckers wound by the Laohao workshop, a small team producing low-quantity batches of custom pickups to a frankly unbelievable standard.

With a clear, bell-like high end and throaty mid-range, they have plenty of bite, and compress beautifully to produce rich harmonic distortion tones when pushed, while the push/pull pots allow for more strat-like single-coil tones when needed! Each Artist Skyler features copper shielding to ensure ground noise is kept to an absolute minimum, while a wheeled string tree and locking strap buttons take care of the little details for you. From the moment it is born on the workbench to the moment of unboxing, the Artist Skyler is raring to be played!

Skyler Paisley Aged Green

By: on 20 December 2025
Its been 3 weeks since this arrived,,at 1st I just couldn't get it to sound good..I actually put it away and was thinking about sending it back next year....I adjusted the PUs a few times and still it was very average..Then about a week ago ,,as I plugged in to the output jack I realised how lose it was..Id had Epiphones that sounded terrible with lose jacks that I replaced and the difference was remarkable..So I'd noticed this b4 but I thought the clamp was just a wide one ,but now it was really lose i tightened it up and plugged in snugly..The effect was instant ,transformed..The PUs were now brilliant and ive been playing it every day since..Soo glad I got this one as they look like they won't be coming back once all sold..The neck PU loves OD and its like playing thru a bridge HB ,,..Then the bridge HB is searing ,I usually play clean and some mild OD is always fun,,but this is a whole other level..Another favourite guitar to the arsenal..Also the neck is near perfect with only D string on 21st fret making wolf notes which really doesn't matter ,,u can just play it all up n down the neck fast as ,,or split coils to get a mellower crunch....Thanks again Artist Guitars..

Oh man what a weapon...

This amazing beast arrived today and has blown me away. I was half expecting to be a little ho-hum about it after suffering buyer's remorse once I'd pulled the trigger on the purchase, but that couldn't be further from reality. Needed the truss rod tweaked a tad as you'd expect, tapped down 2 cheeky rockers (lol, love Milehouse Studios!) and now the neck is perfection. The electronics, hot arsed pick ups are great, as is the fretwork. tuners, and the fit and finish of the whole guitar. It's been almost 6 hours since I started playing with it and my fingers are killing me! Thought I'd give it a rest for the day and share my joy by writing a review as there is only one other so far. Buggers me why there are so few reviews for this model, the world is truly a strange place...

Great fun, highly playable

Bought one of these Dec 24 and haven't played anything else! I have a dozen others - Fenders, PRS, etc. and this is the one I grab every time. Can't explain it but the stainless steel frets make bending seem easier and more precise. Still exploring all the push-pull coil splitting tones, but am having a lot of fun with a bright Ventures surf rock sound. Pipeline, baby! Highly recommend this guitar for anyone. And hey, with the relicing you don't even have to be paranoid about getting that first ding!
