About this Stand
This is an improvement on our old model, MUS002. This version features much stronger clamps and hinges plus an easily removable slide in bookplate.
If you are looking for a heavy duty music stand at a good price then this is the one for you. This is a professional, working standard music stand featuring a sturdy braced tripod base, non-slip rubber feet, large solid bookplate and height/tilt adjustable. Similar models retail for $59.99!
It weighs 3Kg so we don't recommend this for children to carry to school (its also quite large and not suitable for a school bag.

Strong solid standBy: Hector Franklin on 18 January 2020This is a really strong, solid stand. The components are well-made and fit together well, and the clamps are strong. I used one of these stands outdoors on a windy day. I had to attach it to the stage with gaffer tape to stop the wind from blowing it over, but it held up really well. The bookplate stayed in place and didn't droop under the weight of my music book. The support column is made up of only two tubes, so the topmost, inner tube is still thick enough for the clamp to get a good grip on it. The tripod legs make the stand very stable. It's not as light or compact as some other music stands, but it won't let you down.
Music StandBy: Noel on 29 May 2019The music stand is very solid and good adjustment settings plus has a nice deep lip for think music sheets. Delivery was prompt as well, Highly recommend it and also the as usual the excellent service provided by Artist Guitars
Economical stands with excellent portabilityBy: Kerry de Vent on 30 January 2019Our community concert band purchased these music stands to make it easier when transporting stands to and from gigs in the community. They are absolutely perfect in the way they fold. The top of the stands detach from the foldable legs and the tops lay flat without having anything protruding. We purchased a few cheap suitcases, and 20 stands fit into 2 suitcases for easy portability. They are lightweight but quite sturdy considering their cheap price tag.
Good value sturdy standBy: Martin on 3 September 2018This stand is studier than many on the market and should last for years if not mistreated. Metal is strong and overall stand is not overly heavy. Free delivery to Newcastle was < 24 hours and when there was a minor problem with one of the screws Artist replaced in the next day - typical of their backing for products.
Music sheet standBy: John M Eddy on 2 July 2018Great service and price, could not have asked for better.
Good ValueBy: Colin Hailey on 18 May 2018Nice sturdy stand, not too heavy and easily folded up for transport if needed. The steel is substatial without being excessively heavy. The threads on the locking bolts look a little light as though they might strip easily and they feel a bit sloppy but they do up tightly and hold what they are meant to hold. Only time will tell whether they are up to the job or not. As I won't be constantly moving nor adjusting these stands I'm not too concerned. A good lightweight, basic, sturdy stand. A steal at the price.
