Artist Gnosis6 Blue Cloud Electric Guitar w/ Humbucker Pickups

GNOSIS-6 guitar, built for everything from Jazz and Rock to Hardcore and Metal music
The Gnosis is an adaptable, multifaceted and functional modern instrument. It has modern appointments to suit everyone from beginners to the most dextrous shredders.
This style of electric guitar is loved by Hard Rock and Heavy Metal Guitarists and has become a classic icon of that genre. Since the early 2000s, the popularity of this style of guitar has surged, becoming the favoured guitar for the modern 'Hardcore' music movement. Bands like Periphery, Park Way Drive and I Killed the Prom Queen have made this style of guitar their go-to axe when wailing in that all-out crushing tone demanded from open LOW-Tuned music. Now... it's YOUR turn.

Our Artist GNOSIS6 (pronounced 'know-sis') is a versatile 6-String with an all Maple Neck, Poplar Body with Quilted Maple Veneer, Eco-Rosewood Fretboard, 24 frets with 'DOT'-shaped plastic inlays, and a SET-NECK. It has easy high-neck access and is set off by a tunomatic bridge and string-thru-body. It is designed with your need to achieve ultimate sustain and it delivers! This guitar plays fast with a speedy neck, and maintains tight low-end frequencies so it's great for thick warm tones, and heavy drop-tuned chugging alike.
It also has a special combination of two Medium-High output Humbuckers. This means that you can switch from fluid Neck Pickup solo runs and warm clean sounds to the more crunchy rhythms and shred guitar solos on the impressive Bridge Pickup.

All class

By: on 16 April 2024
I was desperate to buy a Grungemaster, but I had hinted like mad for my birthday for one, so I bought this instead. Didn't know I wanted or needed one, but glad I did! This really is all class. Looks a million dollars, almost perfect straight out of the box, a light sanding required on a few frets . Good sustain, good access to higher notes. Great range of sounds. Particularly good, through a Marshall simulator. Lower notes have a nice warmth. I now have 5 Artist guitars and basses and this one has convinced me I need to sell my Squier Strat and buy another Artist Guitar.

Puches above its weight at this pricepoint!

I got this from their eBay store late last year. I loved the shape and online reviews and turns out that I was not wrong in ordering it. It has great play-ability and the tone was simply brilliant ! I have a blackstar mini amp for practice and this was rocking even in that low output. The humbucker pickups are amazing! Also the looks are something else. The finish is brilliant and doesnt look cheap or low cost in any angle. When I walked into my guitar class, the instructor asked me if this was the latest Schecter!!! He is a great guitar player and only owned expensive strats and he played this and was blown out of his mind at the price lol! I think if I progress well, this guitar is worthy enough to upgrade electronics in the future just to take it to the next level. Another thing I noticed was that there is minimal string buzz out of the box. Pleasantly surprised at this price point. Of course, its not a top end guitar but it can give them all a run for their money. Also, if you were looking for this info, the neck is not super slim nor is it super thick, its in between. Feels comfortable for my smaller hands. I have another guitar - ESP LTD EX-400 which has a slimmer neck and so I use this for alternative practice to get used to larger necks. I had an issue with the tone knob. I was asked to return it free of cost. Turns out it was a simple repair and maybe I was ignorant of this. For this elevated level of customer service alone I can highly recommend this. I will continue to buy stuff from Artist as they need the support for running a good and honest business. If you are on the fence, go for it. I can honestly say that nothing comes this close at this price point for a new guitar especially if you are into Hard rock/heavy metal!

Outstanding value

By: on 7 February 2024
The quality on the finish is well above what I expected at this price point. The playing action of the guitar is better than many big brands, guitar was well set up out of the box. Item came delivered swiftly and in good condition, as a whole you would normally pay double for this class of guitar. My only cons are: had to sand the bridge contacts as earth was not carrying through the black plating, and the pickups are too close together for my big fat hands. If you dont have sausage fingers and only play metal chuggs, this wont be a problem for you. Overall I got way more guitar than I paid for. I am already modding this little beast with a roller bridge and some black winter pickups. A great platform for the beginner or value oriented player with headroom to tune to your tastes.

Great shredder!

Apart from some issues with the courier company (which the sales team were very quick and professional in helping me resolve within a one week timeframe), the online purchasing experience was smooth. This guitar is phenomenal value for money. It easily outplays some more expensive guitars I have owned. Out of the box it has come set up almost perfectly, with a nice low action, intonation was only slightly off for one string, smooth fretwork and the nut was sound too. It's an awesome super-strat style guitar with a light to medium weight and thinner neck profile, which offers easy access for shredding. But it's also very versatile; I can get some spacey, punchy shoegaze/rock tones out of the stock humbucker pickups too, which are more than adequate. Could not ask for anything more from a guitar, especially at this price point. My only word of caution to buyers is to spend the extra money to avoid having to use Couriers Please. Go with a more reliable courier like Australia Post instead.

Suits more than metal

By: on 9 June 2022
I'm not a metal player but by adjusting the amp and guitar settings it handles blues and southern southern rock sounds well plenty of room for some grunt if you want it. Comfortable neck and action. The usual Artist quality well beyond the price and it was delivered in just two days. What more could you ask for?

The expectations raised in the review and test of the guitar have been fully met-it's totally addictive to play! A beautiful instrument for an unbelievable price that sounds great. The shopping experience was short, simple and efficient. The delivery dates were changed a couple of times as different stages were reached, but again there the final delivery date was beaten by a day-for free delivery! This is the first time I've ever bought a guitar without having played it first and the fact that it is so pleasing is a tribute to the high quality that Artist Guitars manages to produce at more than reasonable prices-a classic example of under-promising and over-delivering. Well done and many, many thanks

Out of the box this guitar looks fantastic. The website photos don’t do it justice. For a mere $249 guitar this is amazing to play. The sounds you can get out of it are way and above what you imagine a $249 guitar to be. The neck was really nice to play. Playability is 5 stars. Sounds are five plus stars. Ibanez, ESP and Schecter eat dust.

lovely blue clouds

By: on 10 November 2021
Not being a metal player I was a little hesitant getting this in case it didn't sound good with clean and slight crunch settings and I have never been a fan of ceramic pickups so thought I'd probably want to swap the pickups for alnicos. I got a customer returned guitar which was still in mint condition with no scratches or other discernible wear. It looks fantastic, is light but well balanced, is setup well and plays like a dream. The pickups sound pretty good for ceramics and I don't think I'm in any hurry to swap the pickups as it may be nice having a good sounding ceramic pickup guitar as an alternative to my predominantly alnico ones. The neck feels very good, fret edges are nicely finished and it just looks, feels, plays and sounds very good and up to the standards I have come to expect from Artist Guitars. For less than $200 (as it was a customer return) I couldn't be happier with this addition to my range of guitars.

I have been playing guitar for over 35 years and I own a few different guitars including a high end Yamaha. In terms of playability and looks this guitar is off the charts. This was a customer return but I’m so glad I bought it.I plan to busk with this guitar.Everything worked 100% straight out of the box. Seriously Artist guitars has THE best service and returns policy ever.I’ve had great purchasing experiences from this company and I keep coming back time and again and I’m sure you will too.

This guitar exceeds expectations in so many ways. Genuinely beautiful to see and to play,I get lost in the ceramic tone of the pickups and wonderfully accessible higher register neck. Fantastic guitar well done Artist and thank you for this incredible value.
