About this Xvive U2 Guitar Wireless System - Silver

Xvive U2 Guitar Wireless System

We've been searching for years to find a quality wireless system.  This is the first time we've stocked one because only now have we found a system that is reliable enough to use on stage or rehearsals without dropouts, noise or tone degradation, but won't cost you an arm and a leg.

The U2 Wireless Guitar System from Xvive is the most compact and easy way of freeing yourself from the usual spaghetti tangle of cables that is the bane of every musician.

This Wireless Guitar System can be used for Electric guitar and Bass guitar, as well as electric acoustic instruments with an EQ/Pickup such as guitars, basses, mandolins, ukuleles etc.

This item is NOT Suitable for electric acoustic instruments with an Active Pickup, or Microphone Pickup or Condensor.  If you are unsure if your instrument is compatible, please contact us for advice.

Comprising of two simple and small 1/4 jack connectors that act as transmitter and receiver, the U2 is ideal for stage, home and studio use and can also connect via Bluetooth to your favourite devices, using 24 bit resolution to capture every detail in real time - uncompressed, natural, clean tone with no delay at a range of up to 100ft/30m.

It uses 2.4 GHz frequency and uses WI-FI spectrum. It is digital and the sound would be as though you are using a cable. You can use up to 4 units at a time.  To eliminate any possibility of interference from other devices using the 2.4 GHz frequency, we recommend the Xvive U2 wireless system not be placed within 1m of another U2 Wireless system, and more than 3m away from any WI-FI devices such as Internet Routers, Portable Hot Spots etc.

Featuring a rechargeable lithium battery with approximately 5 hour life at full charge.

Includes a transmitter and a receiver.

Charging cable is included.

After watching the demo video on line a couple of times I was tempted to buy this wireless system to use in my regular gigs. One less cable is always appealing. I regularly play a guitar, guilele and a tenor ukulele. When I got my foot tangled in my guitar lead the other night the decision was made. The unit arrived within a few days. It charged up in just a couple of hours. It worked perfectly on the guitar and guilele. There was no latency that I could detect. When I first plugged it into my Ukulele there was a very slight whistling noise. The battery for the pickup in the Ukulele is part of the 1/4 inch jack plug-in arrangement, so the transmitter was within a few mm of the battery. However using the swivel on the transmitter allowed me to move it away by just straightening it a little, which cured the problem immediately. It also worked perfectly on the other four ukes/guitars I own. The two LED's on the receiver let me visually confirm everything is working fine. I'm very happy with the whole set up. Especially for what it cost. If one of my playing friends buys the same thing we might mix them up to have a silver and a black each to make the transmitter and receiver easier to distinguish one from the other, although they do have what they are written on them. Anything to make setting up easier is worth having. Bump in and Bump out are still the biggest grinds in doing gigs IMHO.

I watched video after video of this from Retailers and Real Users and the more I watched the mores impressed I was. Who could think the black boxes and aerials of yesteryear could be replaced by something so small . Brilliant product and takes up bugger all room in your gig bag.

i recieved the XVIVE wireless unit today.. .. i was concerned it wouldnt work with a sustainer as they are an active cicuit and they are not suppose to work with actives but it works without a problem with a sustainer.. i figured it would though as the sustainer is basically its own internal active circuit that operates via a passive system.. i also have 2 guitars with active EMG`s in them, an EMG 81 in the bridge and an EMG 85 in the neck.. the unit also works with these no worries although it says it wont work with actives.. i guess it depends on the individual pickup and its frequencies/signals and whether or not they interfere.. it may be transistor amps only that have a problem and valves are fine..maybe going into pedals versus straight into the amp makes a difference..who knows with electrical signals...lol.... all i know is it works so im happy.. the only issue ive had is that it stops my wireless mouse from working if im very close to it but i doubt that will be a problem onstage...lol.. my home is no stadium but i was able to walk all the way around and through it without any signal loss.. so for future reference if anyone is wondering if it will work with a sustainer, yes it will, no problems at all.. well atleast it did for me anyway... its compact , great quality and very reasonably priced and rvrn dors things its not suppose to.. i recommend the unit to anyone..
