Artist TC59 TC Style Electric Guitar with Bullbucker Pickups

The Artist TC 59 TC  style guitar has certainly been a long time in the development phase but as the saying goes, "good things come to those who wait" and the TC 59 is finally here and a "good thing" it certainly is!

Combining vintage styling with contemporary appointments, the TC59 is a worthy addition to the Artist Guitars brand offering everything that you could want in a TC style guitar without the hefty price tag.

Sporting Artist's in-house designed and manufactured "Bull Bucker" humbucking pickups, the range of sound possibilities that can be achieved from the '59 whether it be jazz, blues, rock or country, is quite astounding. The "Bullbuckers" are a fantastic pickup in their own right and are starting to make some very positive noise amongst guitar players but when they are combined with the TC59's Swamp Ash body and the vintage style maple neck you have an absolutely outstanding guitar package.

The modern bridge which allows for each string's intonation to be adjusted separately guarantees that you can set your guitar up to its optimal level - such a necessary and useful innovation.

To top it all off this wonderful little axe has locking machine heads which make sure that tuning is never far from perfect.

Check this little beauty out! It is well worth the effort - you won't be disappointed!!!

Perfect price perfect guitar.

By: Arjan Gorkhali on 5 July 2019
I have tried few guitars at Artist guitars. They have significantly improved a lot with their quality recently. I wanted a tele bcoz i have a fender telecaster and was looking for an second option as i practice at my friends place. I didnt want to take my expensive guitar so this guitar was my option. I booked this guitar as last time it was sold out before arriving to the store. I was unsure at first but Artist guitars refund policy made me boom this guitar. I picked it up from the store last week and i was surprised what i got. This guitar is a beauty. The neck was smooth and perfect for me. The bullbucker pickups are nice too. Just needed a bit of intonation and lowering of action. To be honest i was planning to leave this guitar at my friends place but i think its not going to happen. My only complain will be the switching sound that it makes while selecting the pickups while playing through a bit of gain. Looks like i am going to have a full collection of Artist guitars. Next one eyeing on LP.

Classic goodness at an affordable price

By: Alan on 4 July 2019
Have owned genuine Strats and Teles in the past, but that was in the days when I was young and had more money than sense. Anyway, had lusted after one of these TC59's for quite some time, even though my wife says I already have w-a-y too many guitars. (You fellow-sufferers of G.A.S. (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) will understand.) I was too slow off the mark when they were last in, so was determined to not miss out this time around...... In short, this is a superb instrument — you may notice that I didn't add the caveat: "for the money", because the truth is that this is a superb instrument, full stop. The fact that it sells at an affordable price is just the icing on the cake. My observations: As is usual with Artist Guitars in-house models, the finish is nigh on flawless. That "blonde" colour is darn nice. The pickups on this baby are humbuckers rather than single-coil, and I like the warm bite that emanates from them. The Tone control has a push-pull function which (I'm assuming, in the absence of a manual) does a split coil thing — whatever its function, it certainly gives a range of classic Tele sounds.. Set-up right out of the box was good — I dropped the action a fraction, and also tweaked the intonation on a few strings, but that was me being super-fussy. ..... So, is this as good as a "real" Tele? Well, it's a long time since I've owned one of those very expensive ones but certainly, the finish, fittings, and playability are excellent, and I'd rate it as least as good as a Mexican Tele, at a fraction of the cost. My one criticism? They're so darn hard to come by!!! If you want one, I'd suggest you keep monitoring the AG site and be ready to jump in FAST when next they come in. At the price, it's a no-brainer.

By: BILLY CRYSTAL on 4 May 2019
Received these items about a week/two weeks, ago. Arrived on time. The guitar looks good, plays well and sounds great!!! Guitar was set up, ready to go...WELL DONE, ARTIST!!! The case is sturdy and appropriate for this 'Tele' Shadow, look. It's heavy so be aware, if considering buying for a young person!!! Very happy with the ARTIST TC59 Tele!!! I'd recommend this unit...definately!!! Thanks, Artist staff!!!
