Artist LP59 Cherry Burst Electric Guitar w/ Bullbucker Pickups

The Artist LP59CSB is our top-of-the-line guitar. whether it be for gigging or recording, this is one of the best guitars on the market in relation to quality and price. This guitar has a great rock/ blues sound that easily produces that big fat fluid sound so typical of this style of instrument.

The African Mahogany body is finished off with a single-ply cream binding over carved poplar cap, with a 5A Tiger Maple venner providing the awesome flamed finish. The set neck is made of mahogany and features an eco-rosewood fretboard. The 22-fret neck is a comfortable "C" shape with trapezoid Mother of Pearl inlaid into the eco-rosewood fretboard. With the typical 24.75" scale length you are sure to bend notes as well as any blues or rock player going around.

The guitar is finished with an impressive Cherry Sunburst while the back is a clear polyurethane finish. The deluxe hardware consists of chrome locking tuners, Tune-O-Matic Bridge with Roller saddles, and a locking Stop Bar Tailpiece.

We install our signature coil-splitting Artist Bullbucker pickups, which have a creamy smooth sound on the neck pickup while the bridge pickup breaks up nicely with no harsh upper mids. They are both vintage-moderate output pickups. An added feature is that both pickups offer coil splitting which guarantees that this guitar will deliver a wide range of tonal options.

We also use the best electronic parts to reproduce the classic wiring configuration. 2 Volume and 2 Tone Control, standard 3-way toggle switch, Japanese Split Brass Shaft 500K Pots, 0.022uF,400V ceramic capacitors, and 1/4" Input Jack.

The factory strings are standard  D'Addario EXL110 strings.

Artist LP59 Cherry Burst Electric Guitar w/ Bullbu

By: on 22 March 2023
Have been an Acoustic player for many years, so I did some solid research on an Electric Les Paul look a like, finally deciding on the ArtistLP59. All the reviews I watched gave comprehensive evaluations against similar models of Epiphone and also genuine Gibson models, and to my surprise the Artist LP59 was very well regarded. Price was a factor for me in making the decision on the LP59, as I was not an experienced electric player, and did not want to be left with an expensive guitar sitting in the case not being played. The hard Brown case I purchased protected the LP59 on the journey from Sydney to Far North QLD, and it arrived in sparkling condition and I was absolutely blown away when I saw it for the first time. I also purchased a Nux Mighty8BT Portable Cube Electric Guitar Amplifier with Bluetooth, which is perfect for myself, also a great bit of gear. Ian and the team at Artist sorted me out on how to effectively use the Locking tuners ( I did'nt know how they worked and wondered why the guitar was not staying in tune.) The team were fantastic. The LP59 has a bit of weight to it , but I'm happy with that, and I'm extremely happy with making the decision to go with Artist for my first electric experience. Having a lot of fun. Thanks guys.

Artist Cherry Sunburst Deluxe Les Paul - it's go

By: on 19 May 2022
Lets start with the bad. There was a drill tip broken and lodged in the string hole of the top E string machine head meaning that a string couldn't be threaded all the way through. I took the machine head off and drilled it out. It wasn't worth returning an otherwise good guitar to get that fixed. I've had more serious issues with a guitar from another maker "F*n*er". Things happen. The frets needed polishing but I just played it for a few days and that gritty feeling when bending strings has gone. The volume and tone nobs are a bit stiff to turn but this is going away with a little use. The action was set really low causing notes to choke out when bending at around the 17th fret but raising the action a tad fixes this. That's normal. Now the good. The chrome work is great. The paintwork for the sunburst was really good and the finish is A1. The machine head turn smoothly and the guitar stays in tune. The pickups sound good and the roller saddles on the bridge are good. Overall, a really decent guitar especially for the price. Now I know what people say about Les Pauls being heavy. It's really noticeable after a few hours if only playing with it resting on the same leg or only on the strap. I really dig this guitar, it's engaging to play and keeps me from putting it down. It's such a deal I'm considering getting the goldtop p90 version as well. I also bought the hard case in brown which is definitely worth the money.

I can not believe how good this guitar looks and plays. If you picked up the guitar without knowing the price you could easily mistake it for a much more expensive guitar. If you are looking for this style of guitar you should consider this one. The finish, quality, feel and playability of this guitar make it a joy to own.
