Artist CHERRY58L Left Handed 'ES' Style Hollow Body Electric Guitar

This classic style guitar has existed in many forms since it was first released in 1958. Since then it has been coveted by some of the greatest Rock 'n Roll, Blues and Jazz guitarists that the world has ever known. Legendary names like BB King, Freddie King, John McLaughlin, Larry Carlton, Jorma Kaukonen, Eric Clapton and Elvin Bishop are among the multitude of players who have loved the diverse tones that this type of instrument offers. Now it's your turn!

The Artist Cherry58 offers a perfect entry level guitar for those wishing to begin their journey into the world of blues and Jazz. With the typical set-neck, this guitar is truly a "blues machine". Like the body, the neck is constructed of maple on an eco-friendly purpleheart fretboard. This wood is a fine substitute for rosewood which is now considered a highly endangered species and as a result is rarely if ever used in general guitar building these days. The 22 frets show off the 'Dot' shaped plastic inlays and when you add to the comfortable "C" shape neck the standard tunomatic bridge and stop-bar tailpiece, you have a guitar that will not only feel great under your fingers but one that will sustain forever.

The Cherry58 sports chrome covered Humbuckers with Alnico V magnets which means that you have the option of the warm throaty tones of the neck pickup or the biting clean sounds of the bridge pickup. When you set your toggle switch in between neck and bridge pickup you get that wonderful almost out of phase sound which confirms that this is an extremely versatile guitar that will be very responsive under your fingers. You will be able to put a stamp on all those great blues solos and wail like the greats or you could darken the tone to suit the "cool" of any dingy little jazz club.

The Cherry58 awaits. Are you ready to take it on?

CHERRY 58 Lefty ES-355

By: Carlo Raggiunti on 1 April 2019
Just bought this guitar last week, changed the factory strings which have no tone at all to D'Addario 10 -46 and the guitar sounds superb , it just comes alive. Polished up the frets as well and plays very silky. Innotation spot on, rest of adjustments pretty spot on. I couldn't find any faults at all on this guitar, very well put together. For $329- dollars i thought there must be something wrong it but am pleasantly surprised. I am going to change the tone and volume knobs to black/silver ones. Nothing else needs to be done. I highly recommend this guitar for beginners or experienced players like myself. Good service from Artist guitars at St. Peters , Sydney.

Just purchased and put through its paces at band practice, nice tone, holds tune relatively well. Dodgy toggle switch is basically the only fault I found.

Love it!

I'm studying abroad in Australia from the US, and made the silly choice not to bring my guitar. It got really hard for me not having a guitar here, so I tried to find the best option for the best price, and I stumbled upon this one. Arrived in perfect condition, and sounds great! I love playing it and I am shocked by how well-priced this beautiful instrument was for its quality. Highly recommend.

Cherry 58L Left Hand 'ES' Style Guitar

By: Dave Rowlands on 7 July 2015
After seeing the offer of a left-handed guitar in a style that I had admired, I jumped at the chance to own one. I own two Artist acoustic guitars and I enjoy the rich tone that they produce. The transition to Semi Acoustic Electric was a most enjoyable one. I have also taken the offer of an initial free lesson with a local guitar teacher courtesy of Artist Guitars so that I may develop my playing technique and continue to develop as a guitarist. The quality and finish on this instrument is top-class. I commend Artist Guitars for producing an affordable range of quality left-handed guitars. Customer service is exceptional and the sales staff were most helpful. I have been an Artist Guitar customer for a few years and their interstate delivery times are outstanding.
