Fantastic!

I had trouble with tone from my acoustic when plugged straight into the mixer. I just couldn’t get everything balanced and not boomy. I purchased this pedal and the difference is amazing! I am super happy with this pedal. Thankyou!

I have never been into pedals. Playing mostly jazz I didn't think I needed them. Well a was wrong. With this all of my guitars (and I have 13) have just come to life. The tone and clarity is just beautiful. Guitars that are a bit bassey and muffled have now got clarity while still retaining their mellowness. And by altering the settings a trebbley guitar has mellowness I have found a new appreciation of my guitars.

Joyo 6 band eq guitar pedal.

Received this little pedal in less than a week via Aust Post. Excellent service. The pedal does exactly what I bought it for.....bass, middle and treble response is so easy to adjust and the response is better than I expected from a pedal in this price range. The sliders are excellent with a firm middle position detent and they light up to make seeing them crystal clear. Excellent value for money.

Just received this today. Only took a few days to get here. This pedal does exactly what it says. It broadens the tone palette and has brought my amp to life. Very impressed.

Exactly what I needed: 1. The sliders have a notch halfway up so it’s easy to set and to add or reduce levels 2. There is no master volume to mess around with. Just turn it on and adjust what you need 3. The Red LED sliders look cool You can still use it as a boost by adjusting all the levels up slightly but there are many other EQ and boost pedals that do that. If you just want an EQ pedal, that does the job very well, this is it.

It does what it's meant to do, tames my woofy Vox amp. Gives me much more tonal options. Should have gotten one years ago.

I am very happy with this pedal. Its quiet, looks great and It shapes and transforms your amps sound beautifully. Like the EQ on the car stereo...you won't stop messing with it. It is a very good product and an essential pedal.

Excellent value .....

The JF11, quite simply, does the job. I've used it with acoustic electric (Ovation and various Artist guitars), solid body (Line 6 Variax, played as an acoustic), and even baritone uke, and the six controls give you plenty of scope to adjust the EQ to your exact requirements. No noise problems, either, and the tiny red lights on each slider show you at a glance where everything's set. Typical AG gear — it just works, and at a reasonable price. Why pay more?

Update

I posted a review that it was noisy, but afterwards I found out it was another problem in my setup. Again the power input sunk inside but I can still plug in the power 9v. So don't worry about noise, it's crystal quiet. Marc

Joyo JF11

By: on 15 June 2019
Excellent product, it gives me exactly the sound I was hearing in my head and longing to come out of my amp. I have an older setup, my guitar is an ESP LTD H-51 and my amp is a roughly 1960’s maton EP V202. I love the sound it makes when cranked and the valves crunch and are overdriven but it is too loud for when I play live (I’m in a church band with a very mixed congregation) so I wanted a pedal that helped get that driven sound but quieter volume for the oldies. I tried a blues overdrive and a tube screamer but didn’t find what I wanted. The JF11 lets me increase the low end without distorting the higher frequencies and hits the mark perfectly!! The only VERY TINY negative I found is that the 9V input socket sits too deep into the housing and my multi lead has only 1 plug in it that will fit in the hold. As I said tiny issue that was resolved with finding the right plug Very happy customer

Excellent Pedal

I purchased this pedal with the idea to use it as a boost for solos and for fine tuning my tone. When the pedal first arrived it has been damaged in transit but I rang Artist Guitars and they immediately sent me a return label and within a week I had a replacement one that worked perfectly. This pedal exceeds all my expectations and fits perfectly to what I bought it for. Whether you're fine tuning your sound or using it as a boost occasionally as I do it is perfect. I highly recommend this pedal.

Honestly, the best EQ on the matket for the price. No noise what so ever and made very well and strong.

This EQ has the perfect range adjustment specific for guitar. it's extremely affordable and does the job just as well, if not better. So far I've been very impressed with all of Artist's products so far.

Typical Joyo value

Having bought Joyo pedals from AG previously, I didn't have too much hesitation about giving this unit a try. Let's start with the basics ..... To my eye, it's pretty much a Chinese-made copy of the Dunlop/MXR-6 — same layout, same specs e.g. +/- 18db range, same frequency ranges etc., although this Joyo has True Bypass, whereas I don't believe the MXR-6 does, so that's a small plus for the "copy"! The metal casing is built like a tank, so you're not going to break that — perhaps the only vulnerability is in the sliders themselves, so best not to stand on top of the thing! :-) As with most pedals, power is via a 9-volt battery (supplied) or transformer (not supplied), and the tops of the sliders have a nice red glow to show you their position on a darkened stage. The "manual" supplied is just one tiny A5 page, with one side in Chinese, and the other pretty much useless in terms of instructions — doesn't really matter, because an EQ is something you're just going to play with until you get the sound you want from your instrument. Talking of sound, how does it work? Well, surprisingly well. I've used it with both my Ovation 1178LX guitar, and my Fender Mandostrat mandolin, through a Mesa Boogie 5.25 amp, and have been pleased with the range of the settings. Each frequency slider can make a noticeable difference, so I doubt you'll have much trouble EQ'ing your particular instrument. Although I'll use the JF11 primarily to enhance my rhythm sound on both instruments, I guess another use would be to set it up specifically for a lead break, and then engage the new settings when it's your turn in the spotlight! (I emphasise that I've used it only with clean sounds — haven't tried distortion etc.) The box appears to be fairly noiseless — whether engaged or not — so there's no adverse impact on sound that I can detect. Overall, this is an effective addition to my small pedal line-up and, at less than half the price of an MXR-6, I can't see why I'd need to spend more. In short, another good-value AG product.

Good solid build great value and the LED lights on the 6 slide controls make it easy to ajust even on a dark stage.
