Artist STHL Black Left Handed Electric Guitar + Humbucker
Artist STHL Black Left Handed Electric Guitar + Humbucker
This Left Handed Electric Guitar is perfect for fast playing rock, metal, punk, hardcore, blues, fusion/ funk and contemporary. This guitar is designed to do it all.
If you're someone who wants to play a bit of metal like Pantera, Van Halen or Metallica, but then wants to play rock like Nickelback or Cold Play, and then wants also to do a bit of Jimi Hendrix... basically, you looking for a guitar that can do a bit of everything, then this electric guitar is the right choice for you.
This guitar gives you a clean sound as well as much distortion as you can handle from your amp or effect pedals without any extra unwanted noise and squeals.
The STH electric guitar is a great way to be introduced into the world of rock, funk and blues as it is a beginners copy of a classic guitar that has done countless albums, tours and made many a guitar icon.
The contoured body provides great comfort in playing which has made this type of guitar a favourite with many players since the 1950s
It has tremolo bridge that is not floating, or lock tuning like a Floyd Rose, but rather it is designed for a small amount of vibrato so locking nuts are not necessary. Great Quality and Wilkinson Pickups make this guitar a step above the rest. This is a real musical instrument, not a toy, designed by our local luthier's and players. We also sell these as a package with an amplifier if you need.
This is a full size guitar perfect for Adults, recommended for children over the age of 12 (or younger if your child is strong and taller than 1.2m)

Some of its great features
It has an eco-rosewood fingerboard and maple neck, a 2 way truss rod (which means you can adjust the neck up or down)
Wilkinson pickups mean you will get a much better sound than a "standard" pickup. The STH comes with a Humbucker and 2 single coil pickups. This gives you more versatility in the styles you can play. Humbucker pickups allow you to produce better distorted tones.
It has a classic strat style bridge (so you can do classic style tremolo and string bends) & die-cast machine heads that will help you stay in tune longer and make your tuning easier.
We include a range of support materials from how to tune, how to read tab, basic chord shapes and more.

Neck Kisses, Cheap as Chips and a Humbucker!By: Justin on 21 May 2021I've been playing guitar for 30 years and have never owned a Stratocaster style guitar with a humbucker. Whilst Artist might market this guitar as a good beginner guitar I've got it happily sitting next to my US made Fender American Professional II. Shipping was fast, neck was straight and the only setup I did was slightly adjust the string height and intonation on 2 strings. All in all it’s just so much guitar for the money. The humbucker on the STHL allows me to get much fatter hard rock to metal tones than any of my other Strat style guitars with single coils in the bridge. I'm really most happy with the neck; it feels great, fret ends are smooth, it’s really thin and I love the smooth satin finish on the back. The guitar is super light too which I appreciate as I play standing up.

Review for an STHL purchased at discount, advertisBy: John ZD351 on 11 February 2021All I wanted was a LH S Type body to put the neck and various bits from a RH guitar I have. Couldn't find a reasonably priced body. I was considering whether to buy one of those $150 kits or the $199 Artist STHL purely to harvest the body for my project. Then I see Artist listing a half priced STHL noted as "Customer returned due to wiring issue - guitar requires repair before use with an amp" - - - - - - - - - - Perfect. What do I care about the wiring? I've found my body donor. I place my order on the Friday before the Australia Day holiday and received it in Melbourne on the following Thursday, exactly as predicted. it came with the gig bag and all accessories listed in the ad. - - - - - - - - - - After I checked out the guitar for about 15 minutes, I was not too happy. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the guitar. I found no wiring issue. I got sound on all 5 switch positions. Volume and Tone controls worked as they should. Neck profile was a very comfortable slightly more filled out modern C shape. Fret ends were neat and well dressed. Action and intonation set well. Guitar was a good weight, not too heavy or overly light. Days later, I pick it and it's keeping its tune. - - - - - - - - - - Yep, not happy. I can't strip this guitar out. It's too good to be cannibalised. My righty neck is bodyless again and I've got myself ANOTHER black LH S Type. Thanks a lot Artist! Call me when you have one with a snapped neck. I'm too much of a softy, and can't take a perfectly good guitar out to the slaughterhouse. I should have known after my other Artist Guitars purchases, that this would end up too good for what I wanted. If I was buying this at full price with the intention of keeping and using it I would have been very happy with my purchase.
By: Artist GuitarsWe appreciate your feedback on the customer-returned STHL left-handed guitar as it means a lot to us. I have sent you an email regarding possible victims for the "slaughterhouse". Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions or concerns. Cheers!
An absolute pleasure to deal withBy: TERRY on 9 February 2021This is my second purchase from Artist and they are an absolute pleasure to deal with, nothing is asking to much from this company May not be the " brand " name of other guitars but they certinally are not the price either and Artist guitars play exceptionally well regardless of your experience. You wont regret the experience of buying an Artist guitar.
By: Artist GuitarsThank you so much for the review Terry! We really appreciate the support!
Fantastic productBy: George on 17 April 2020I had been looking for a left handed guitar for a while and saw this one and decided to give it a go, and to be totally honest I am more than impressed with it, not just the price but also the added accessories and incredible sound. I would recomand thio guitar to both experts and new players love it
Best Value For MoneyBy: Darren S on 9 April 2020Artist STHL Black Left Handed Electric Guitar + Humbucker is the best value for money out there. I was amazed at the quality of this guitar for the price. The neck is really comfortable to play and the Wilkinson pickups have a great sound, especially when playing the neck and middle pickups together, they have a beautiful chimey sound you would expect to get from a more expensive guitar. Great work Artist Guitars, thank you.
Artist STHL Black Left Handed Electric Guitar + HuBy: Allan Carpenter on 14 February 2019I received my brand new Artist STHL guitar much sooner than expected. The guitar is beautifully finished and can’t be faulted. One wonders why the “NAME” products should be so much more expensive. Thank you Artist Guitars ❤️
Left handed electric guitarBy: Luke on 9 February 2019I brought the STHL left handed guitar overall I’m impressed the the neck is smooth postage was really quick tuners and pickups are great the only complaint I have is there is so much fret buzz due to so many of the frets being uneven it’s also causing the strings to go out of tune every time I play a chord so it’s going to take a lot of work and money to level and crown the frets everything else is great I’m giving 3 stars purely for the money I’m going to have to spend to get the frets done otherwise it would have been 5
Low On Price, Not On Quality.By: Troy Gardiner on 20 October 2018Was looking for a budget priced guitar to modify, and these are perfect for that job. Being left handed leaves me with a small choice in guitars, but even before any changes were made, this played like a dream, and made with just as much care as a right handed guitar, no hanging frets, neck fits perfectly in the pocket, springs and trem claw are nice and tight and easily adjustable with some patience. I may have changed the pickup configuration to suit my needs, but at the given price, I could just as easily buy another to have the HSS. Only issue, the output jack was not connecting to the lead 100%, but that was a quick fix and it's fine now.
Low Price High QualityBy: Les on 9 February 2018I bought this as a guitar to learn on before I bought a big name brand, I find I don't need to spend a thousand plus on a guitar, this is putting out a really good sound, I have changed 1 thing on it, I got some locking machine heads just to be sure though it didn't need them, would I recommend this to someone, yep, beginner or playing for you-tube, a small pub this mixed with the NUX Frontline 30 does the job, no need to break the bank to get a good quality sound.
