About This Crash/Ride Cymbal

Artist cymbals are made using a combination quality craftsmenship plus tried and tested lathing and hammering techniques to produce the best sounding cymbals at the fairest prices you'll find.  You have to hear these to believe quality.

The Rough Light Series combines the brilliance of a classic lathed cymbal with the dryness of the raw, rough, unlathed finish to provide a wide range of sonic textures.  Being a thin cymbal, these are washy but without the overbearing overtones.  Great for jazz.

Delicious!

I'd been thinking about getting this cymbal for AGES and finally sunk the money on it. Glad I did, it's a ripper of a cymbal. I originally set it up as a crash but didn't like crashing on it as much as my other 18's, so set it up as a small ride, and it's great to ride on with the occasional crash for accenting. 10/10!

Nice cymbal

Good sounding cymbal. It has a non-abrasive old jazzy style tone to it without too much sizzle and long sustain. Bell has nice clean ring. Initially the cymbal had an overtone I didn't like in it but only a touch of sticky tape on the edge tuned it just right for my style.

Artist Crash/Ride Rough Light

This cymbal is value for the price, it has great ride ping characteristics and a washy crash for rock, the bell sound is like a cymbal 4 times the price. I need it for quiet cafe sound and have used a bit of Gel on the outer edge which brings the sound down a little. The rough texture of the bell and ring on the cymbal make it look fabulous.I certainly would recommend this cymbal to other drummers.
