Some key features are the rosewood fingerboard and bridge. Most guitars of this price range use low grade maple for the neck and paint it black to make it look like rosewood.  Eventually this will wear down and the black will colour will fade away. If you look closely at the CL12 you should be able to see the grain - the rosewood looks brown not black.  Another great component of this guitar is the truss rod running through the neck.  The truss allows you to adjust the action of the strings ( the distance between the strings and the fret board).  You will be hard pressed to find a guitar of this price with this feature!
